if aaron could scramble as well as Sho does with excuses, he'd still be on his feet.....easy to have high ratings when all you do is take sacks..cant get picked off that way...

but theres no point in keeping on with it..the proof was sunday again and will be replayed for years to come.....

Last time I checked, taking a sack is much better than throwing an INT.

And saying Rodgers can't scramble? Showing your bias and ignorance again Bmoney.

Here is a tip, if you find yourself agreeing with sweetness, you know you are likely on the wrong side here.

But he has weapons!

so does Manning, so does Brady, so does "Brees.

Question for everyone. Why do you all consider Brees a top 3 QB? He put up stats, but he has weapons. What was his record last year? What makes him top 3 up there with Manning, but Rodgers a dime a dozen QB? After 1 and a half years of play? I don't participate in these crap threads anymore because BMoney goes off a cliff anytime the Packers lose, Sweatmeat has the IQ of a retarded lamb, and Swamp Poosay is about to tuck his son in.

After a 6-10 year what did I expect from the Packers this year? 9 or 10 wins. They are 4-3, sure with the harder part of their schedule coming up, but all 3 of their losses were to 2 good teams in pretty close games. People need to get real, you look stupid.

Anything short of Rodgers taking GB to the SB and winning it in spectacular fashion BMoney is going to jump all over stuff. He is like a 14 year old girl.

Stop being logical.

And you are dead on about ol Bmoney...the guy who claims at times to be a Packer fan...yet gloats when they lose.

My problem is Im not as smart as you do stay away from these threads.

Can't haelp myself.

keep living in denial....

Says the guy calling Rodgers an overrated product of the system.

keep ripping on what I say...I admit, I may be wrong on things...but on this topic, I havent been yet....so quit b1tching...

Sure you haven't

Rodgers wont be here 5 years from now..the new GM will never keep him...there will be better out there in free agency...

And this is why people are bashing you, for stupid comments like this.

the packers WOULD be winning more with brett...and if brett were to leave..they could draft a matt ryan type who could come in and be just as good as matt schaub-lite...

Why is it that pretty much every analyst disagrees that they would just be winning more with Brett?

They already have a solid QB, you just don't see it because you are still attached to Brett.

whiner.... :D i bet you booed brett also sunday....fickle...

Yes, you most certainly are a whiner.

And someone who either booed Rodgers, or was happy people were booing him in camp last year, you have no damn room to talk.

Funny, Packer fans were booing an opposing QB, you were all for people booing their own QB.

I'm right in the middle on this one. I don't get the Rodgers hate, or the denial that the GM and coach are the problem and not the solution. What I wanted was the Super Bowl oppurtunities TT gave up. That's it. He finally gets his rebuliding done then Brett almost takes that team to another Super bowl. Then Ted pulls the plug on the whole deal and we see what happened last year. Ted and McCarthy are done in Green Bay. This will be the end for them. Justice was served, and the team will have a very hard time reaching the playoffs now. I hope and pray they do, but i just hope they don't meet Brett again, because he will finish them off if they do. Ask Ted if he is glad he did it now??

With McCarthy I think most agree he is a huge issue right now.

Slow to adjust anything...does not seem to hold anyone accountable and so on.

Ted did not pull the plug on the whole deal on his own though. And even with Brett...that team was going nowhere last year.

Ted will get another year barring a complete meltdown. He is tied to Rodgers more than anything. If Rodgers plays well and they squeak out 9 wins...possibly even 8-8 IMO, TT keeps the job.

MM is as good as gone unless they go on a crazy run.

And so we agree with the "dumb" one....soon the "dumber" will follow. Good job TT drafting busts like Harrell, Brian Brohm, Brandon Jackson (anyone seen Raji yet?) and not spending any cap space or even average draft picks on HOF players like Randy Moss or Tony Gonzalez.

Fun...lets just name drafted players who don't play well.

Not the ones that are doing well.

BTW...why don't you answer the question about the 4 wins...when you only mentioned 3 of the teams they beat and not...say...the Chicago Bears?

BTW...Rodgers is still better than Cutler.

How did that funeral for Favre go fudgepacker fans? Way to be classy about the only player who made your team relevant in the last 40 years. Looks like there should be a funeral for all fudgepacker fans where they come and talk about their own demise this season for having to watch their crappy team .... :dunno:

31 sacks..at least 1/3 caused by him scrambling around....

if thats prolific, they need a new playbook...

you are referring to the summer when we led the chants for "bring back brett"...much more different than a boo....but im not that willing to accept mediocrity as you are..

as it stands..too much our camp didnt get its way..the team wouldnt be in turmoil....

as ive said..youre supposed to boo brett during the game..im cool with that....

but those who booed brett before the game arent true packer fans and deserve cancer....

as far as 5 years from now..TT wont be here 5 years from now...wake up from your dream world...GMs usually like their own guy in there..ie TT with rodgers...

rodgers took over a 13 win team that basically was the same, save for the major downgrade at qb..and the packers havent won 13 games since....

TWO wins over winning teams since the start of 08 and you think im whining? hahahaha...im just checking in and pointing out again that you are fighting a losing battle....

Last year's team played nothing like 2007...with or without Brett. The line was worse, people got hurt, and the D was flat out terrible.

Yes, the team last year was going nowhere with Brett Favre.

I cant believe I missed this gem...

a sack is better than an INT..you are correct...

but taking a sack and causing it to be 2nd and 16 is not better than throwing the ball away and making it 2nd and 7...

rodgers CAN run...when his mind is set on running if there isnt anything there, hes great..can run for 15 yards in a heartbeat...

but half the time..he scrambles and sits there...undecided on passing and running and down he goes...

im not siding with anyone..this is the same side ive been on..the fact that hes on my side here is good news for him....

why dont you just give this argument up already? rodgers is just overrated.....

Major downgrade at QB. Funny how not one single NFL analyst or expert would agree with your statement.

The Packers would not have come close to 13 wins last year with Favre either...you keep dreaming that one though.

I'll repost since BMoney had no rebuttal to this:

This is all dumb... Brett has an ideal situation going for him right now.... we don't need to rehash it.... but the last time Brett had an o-line like Rodgers has now he threw 29 interceptions...

Sweetness knows this because he commented on every single one of those INTs....

For you guys to play dumb was silly at first, but now it's worn itself out....

It's just boring....

Rodgers > Favre

10 years from now.... Rodgers > Favre

There's no future with Favre... Packers made the right choice.

Rodgers with terrible offensive line = #1 passer rating in the NFL; 16 TDs, 2 INT

Favre with a sub-par offensive line = 20 TDs; 29 INTs ... 4-12 record

'nuff said.... The icing on the cake is that Rodgers will just keep getting better and better

This has to be one of the funniest things I've EVER read on here. All credibility completely gone after a statement like that.

Have you watched rodgers play? Did you think Brady was going to be the stud he is now when he won the superbowl against the rams? How bout the next year against the panthers? No. Brady was a game manager. He didn't make mistakes, he had a good running game, a great offensive line, and a great defense. Rodgers has none. His d is getting there, but his Oline sucks. Rodgers is a more talented thrower than brady. He can throw it harder and is just as accurate. It's only his 2nd year in the league. Will he win the super bowls brady has? Probably not. But he reminds me of brady when he throws and plays. Take out brady's 50 td season and brady's numbers will pale in comparison to rodger's numbers.

Look, i'm not here to argue about TT or Mcarthy. I'm a cowboys fan and don't really know either that well. I think turner handled the situation bad, but favre not making up his mind leaves teams in bad situations. Minnesota is 7-1 with favre and greenbay is 4-3 with rodgers. I think any educated mind could easily argue that if the qb's were switched that the records would be close to the same. Sure favre made the heroic throw against the 9er's, but he was awful before that play. You favre homers have to realize that rodgers is not a good qb, but a GREAT one. If i'm choosing qb's to start a team for this season, or to win one game i go with: Peyton, Brady, Brees, Roth, Rodgers, Rivers. I think your crazy if you put favre or romo or warner or any of the other qb's in that list. Dilfer, Aikman, Young, and other former qb analysts have named those same 6 as their top qb's as well.

why blame 08 on everyone BUT rodgers?

No, the D was not awful in 2007...I guess to you it means it was all Brett.

Never mind Barnett playing poorly then getting hurt. Jenkins out. Williams gone and Harrell hurt so no depth at DT...Pickett ineffective...Hawk was not good and never sure if he was 100% healthy. Bigby has not been the same since 2007...Harris missing time, Woodson playing safety...and KGB completely done so Mike Montgomery ended up playing end quite a bit.

But yes...must have all been Brett. With #4 around all of those guys would have been lights freaking out.

He was not 8-3...the team was...and they won several games where his play was piss poor. But you don't really want to look at that and you know it.

Brett does have it...as amazingly effective as you want to lay it out and the Packers have been bad (at least use your source of the article early in the week and not act like you made it up yourself).

But I guess that is all of the differences between 13-3 and 6-10 last year right. So what was the problem the two years before that...wait, let me guess, none of that was Brett's fault either right?

Doing just better than last year would not have made keeping him worth it. In the end we would have again lived through another will he or won't he come back...we would have no clue anything about Rodgers going into the final years of his contract...and despite your ridiculous opinion of Rodgers, that would not be a good thing.

Who blamed 2008 on anything except Rodgers...it was a team record...everyone played a part in it.

You seem to want to blame it all on him. You excuse the defense but keep trying to say the only difference was who was QB.

Wow...you went to the game...that really makes you a fan. Im betting you cheered for the Vikings though.

No, I did not go...I was there two weeks ago though.

I would say someone who A. is a seahawks fan B. gloats when the Packers lose C. does nothing but complain about the Packers D. when talking about Rodgers to another Packer fan calls him "your QB"

is probably not a freaking Packer fan.

Some did get mad at the team...some are still attached to a QB who is no longer here...they had no problem with management before that.

And some were never fans of the team before...they talked seahawks all of the time...it was all about them all the time...then Brett leaves and now here is Bmoney the Packer fan who rarely talks hawks anymore.

I don't think you are a fan. why? because you like to complain and whine in these threads I guess...not sure why else you feel the need to come in here and talk nonsense.

Had they acquired Brees at that point, you would have whined they were pushing Brett out the door. And you know damn well you would have.

And you can keep whining about Rodgers...but Brett was not doing his magic all that much when Rodgers was drafted...nor was he doing it while retired until training camp.

Seahawks combined record the last 2 years when BMoney started whining about and claiming to be a fan of the Packers 6-17.

Why doesn't he hold his Seahawks to such a high regard and standards as he does the Packers?

Has BMoney acknowledged Favre's 29 INT's when the line was not-so good?

I'm pretty sure Sweetness ejaculated on himself for every one of those receptions and came to FFToday to post that "Favre is the suckiest quarterback that ever did suck"

Now Sweetness is stroking old and gray and less talented Favre's cack?

Let me explain to you idiots one thing: Quarterbacks are one man out of 53 guys.... When they are surrounded by excellence, because of so many factors, they exceed well beyond their talents -- see Brady, Dilfer, Culpooper, etc.

When the chips are down, when the o-line is terrible is the real test of a quarterback

Rodgers: 16 TDs, 2 INTs, number one passing rating in the whole league

Favre: 20 TDs, 29 INTs.....4-12

Favre was a great quarterback; take nothing away from him.... but on this Packer current team with the pathetic o-line right now.... I'd say 1-6 and Favre probably out for the season with a broken leg or separated shoulder (Favre getting hit twice as much as Rodgers if he's not just scaredly chucking the ball up like at the end of the Eagles "4th and 26" playoff game)...

Worse, Rodgers would be gone and the Packers would have no future

Packers made the right choice....

A Seahawks fan and a Bears fan are going to lament two losing Packer seasons in 20 years... really??? Let me repeat that.... a Seahawks fan and a Bears fan :music_guitarred:

Stop being dumb.... Your pathetic teams would cream over yourselves to be able to rebuild in one year... Do you know why? Because both of your teams have been essentially rebuilding for 25 years and 35 years respectively....

Stop the nonsense... :dunno:

"Twenty-four regular-season games into Favre's removal as Green Bay's starting quarterback, Ted Thompson looks every bit as stupid as Peter Pocklington, the man who traded Wayne Gretzky to Los Angeles."

ouch! this obviously wasn't written by donhass, was it? :pointstosky:

Nope....dumb-azz has his head way up rodger's azz to see anything clearly anymore

I am just LOVING it....Favre's shenanigans have completely EXPOSED green g@y fans to be one of the worst fan bases in the nation....booing your HOF QB who made you relevant; doing a funeral for Favre etc....LOVING IT....keep showing your true colors.....most of us already knew what you inbred hicks were capable of. Now it is there for the the entire world to see

:overhead:

You, Sweetness, and Viking fans were the frontrunners in the Favre is the crappiest QB in the world sentiments a few years ago, and now the three of you are knocking each other over to gobble the 40-year-old's man-juice??

Funny!

Favre with the Packers o-line = 29 Ints and half-dead QB

Packers = no future

As a Lions fan you surely understand the "no future"

I love to see Favre succeeding (although not with the Vikings).... I wish he could have had the perfect situation that he has now with GB...

But he's not magically a better quarterback (older and crustier) than he was during the 29 INT season.

Same guy, much better situation.

I've explained this all already...

I'm just happy the Packers were able to rebuild in one year... For some teams, it takes 60 years  :pointstosky:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Funny when people are pumping up Whitlock going on a tirade as something.

No it is funny to see you and other fudgepacker homers (insert dumb-azz here) now telling us how Favre was over-rated when all you did before he left was suck his cack as though he was God. I love how you and the rest of the fudge packer fans have been exposed to be pure shams. Love it....enjoy watching Favre in the playoffs. I know it will make you burn.... :pointstosky:
