I'm not a big McCain supporter, but he cleaned Obama's clock last night in the interviews they both gave answering the same questions.

 

Obama is such a clown without his cue cards. If I had a dollar for every time he mumbled "uh, uh" I could retire today. I guess he was caught offguard and wasn't expecting a question on abortion while being interviewed by a preacher in front of his followers.

 

Question: "At what point does a baby get human rights, in your view?,"

 

Obama: Whether you are looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity is, you know, above my pay grade.

 

Huh? Hey chowderhead, you are running for POTUS. That would be the most powerful position in the world. There is no "pay grade" higher than that. It just gives you warm fuzzies to know he thinks a simple question on abortion is above his pay grade when you realize he will have to answer questions on Iran, Putin, Iraq, etc......

Um, he was speciically asked his view on when a baby gets human rights. He wasn't asked when life begins.

 

Given his position supporting partial birth abortions he could have said "At birth" and been done with it. Instead he had to come off as super-intelligent and failed miserably.

You should have seen Obama try to answer a question about Russia's invasion of Georgia. He mumbled, double-talked, and then stated that "both sides should show restraint." Hmm, if a woman is being raped, should she show "restraint" and not resist?

I think that he was trying to be humble and clever with the answer, but instead it was just another wishy-washy answer to a difficult question in which he gave us nothing specific. Given his lack of experience and not a long voting record this further validates concerns that I have with him that he is just pandering to the voters and not really prepared to work on answers to the problems.
