subie101 0 Posted September 8, 2008 I'm completely friggin' boned Brady was my first rd pick and i already own Cassel (we play team QB). So I'll need to play the WW even harder than usual. I'm looking at C. Johnson had a good week and i already own LenWhale. Just looking to bolster the team at any position.
nobody 2,109 Posted September 8, 2008 You'll probably think I'm high because guys like Chris Johnson are on your waiver wire, but I'm looking at Anthony Fasano. I watched the Dolphins game yesterday, and he seems like the only guy on the roster that can get open.
idiotec 31 Posted September 8, 2008 I'm looking at C. Johnson had a good week and i already own LenWhale. You might want to look at P. Manning, F. Gore, and L. Tomlinson. I hear their pretty good.
subie101 0 Posted September 8, 2008 You might want to look at P. Manning, F. Gore, and L. Tomlinson. I hear their pretty good. Thought the reference to LenWhale (sorry i meant LenDale White plays for the Titans at the Running Back position) would have given it away. Chris Johnson 5'11" played at East Carolina LenWhale's Handcuff. Hope i clarified it for ya.

He was also drafted in both my 10-team leagues. Can’t imagine him being on the waiver wire in any league.
Kingstowne Dealers 14 Posted September 8, 2008 Chris Johnson is on the Waiver Wire? Anyway, I picked up Fasano, Cassel, and Robbie Gould (hoping to get some of that magic back!) I also looked at the WR in Seatttle, I forgot his name (Clapton, Clayton, Clay Aiken or something like that)

Just so you know, on this forum if you mention that any guy who received even the slightest bit of hype during the preseason, is available on your waiver wires, you will be mocked. I'm not saying it's right I'm just saying that's the reality. It's a rough board.

enis_44 0 Posted September 8, 2008 Well, my league must suck too, 'cause Chris Johnson is available. In our defense it You can say that again!!!!!!!!! edit: late to the party
mhaggy 0 Posted September 8, 2008 Maybe I'm crazy but I picked up Houston DST in one league. Sure, Pitt lit them up... but the Baltimore O is a far, far cry from the Pitt O. Plus rookie QB. The main weakness of the Houston D, the secondary, is the one aspect Baltimore can't really exploit. IMO Flacco has not looked good at all from what I have seen and is due to start tossing some picks. Williams and Okoye should eat up that O-line.
Joey Gladstone 33 Posted September 8, 2008 I'm considering Rosario, but will probably stick with Heath Miller. The Steelers won't run on everybody like that.

Cuse9 128 Posted September 9, 2008 Your waiver wire is open? Yeah, it's a joke to have the waiver wire open during games. Brady got hurt and Cassell was picked up immediately. Anyone who did anything yesterday was picked up before half the guys knew you could even pick guys up. I can't stand leagues that cater to guys who can sit on their computer and put in for guys immediatley like that.

Well said, I hate that too - let me enjoy the games, not surfing for injuries to scoff up players - makes for a more enjoyable sunday to watch the games. Diggler 0 Posted September 9, 2008 Well, my league must suck too, 'cause Chris Johnson is available. In our defense it is a league with only a 4-deep bench, not a lot of room for Your post is amongst the gayest (and when I say gay I mean happy) I have ever seen. Then again, you have equaled or exceeded the post count I have earned over 4 years, so I guess you accomplished your goal. Yay! for you!
