That advice although it may be ok and help; if you have a family history of alcoholism or are just genetically more susceptible to becoming an alcoholic could cause way more problems down the road for you. These are extremely hoppy ales, which you might find too "bitter" if you're a lifelong Bud drinker, but once you acquire a taste for hoppy beers it's hard to go back. Enjoy! These are extremely hoppy ales, which you might find too "bitter" if you're a lifelong Bud drinker, but once you acquire a taste for hoppy beers it's hard to go back. Enjoy! My favorite local brewery (Rubicon Brewing Co.) had a Hoptoberfest last month with a tasting of 20+ IPA's. A pub near my work in Seattle (Brouwer's) also does a "HopFest" each year, with about 50 or so IPAs on tap. Good times. This year I remember Iron Horse Brewery from Ellensburg, WA having a couple of good offerings -- not sure how widely available their beers are, however. Anchor Steam and Bell's Two Hearted & Oberon are really good. Fat Tire is excellent as well. If you're used to the swill that is Bud, check out LandShark. It goes down really easy but tastes a lot better than most Lites. But if you really wanna relax man, smoke a joint followed by a brew or two. That sh!t will get you chill real quick. I can not stand being in the office so I try to stay in the shop end as much as I can. Sometimes I still think I'm in my 20's and over do it. Back to the beer... Tried some Sam Adams Boston Lager last night. The 1st was a little hard to swallow. After that they got better with each bottle. If I were to give it a grade I would say B+.
