Look at all that local lard. We must be getting way more than our share. I never realized what a heavyweight porkbarreller my congressman is. Suddenly I feel a lot better about this thing.

That West Virginia getting only one project is hilarious. I guess helping out the poor only means the black poor. Hillbillies need not apply.

StimulusWatch.org was built to help the new administration keep its pledge to invest stimulus money smartly, and to hold public officials to account for the taxpayer money they spend. We do this by allowing you, citizens around the country with local knowledge about the proposed "shovel-ready" projects in your city, to find, discuss and rate those projects. These projects are not part of the stimulus bill. They are candidates for funding by federal grant programs once the bill passes. Learn more by reading the FAQs.

Exactly. There's a lot of dumb people who just don't look into things. There's a new ad out that is so horribly off the mark, it's not even funny.

Here's the fact check

Basically, they took this from a list of "shovel ready" projects that mayors slapped together.

That's what sucks. - There's plenty of stuff to watch out for with this kind of money. You don't have to make up shiit. - Because the idiots who believe this shiit will never do the research on their own.

In other news, Matthew Lesko died of a massive heart attack. His corpse was discovered 5 days later still

sporting an erection.

Great link. The state links go to local city links with an itemized list of exactly where the money will be spent in your city. Looks like quality stuff to me, things that have needed to be fixed for awhile now. It'll provide countless jobs for people in the area.

Kind of like all of the people who voted on the bill without reading it.
