SUXBNME 1,595 Posted January 24, 2010 I don't know exactly why - and I'm an abortion opponent - but something tells me this child was not meant to be, and I'm going to accept it as such. Yeah, I'm disappointed, and I would have taken the thing, but it is what it is. If you ever say "it is what it is" again, I'll piss in your ukulele or whatever it is that you play in your craptastic band

tikigods 76 Posted January 24, 2010 The 12 Apostles of Christ carried swords. Peter even defended Christ with his sword in the garden, when the Romans came to take him away. The Apostles were armed and dangerous, they were protecting their King. You don't know crap about Christianity you idiot. My favorite part was when Jesus and God had the light saber duel on Endor. Jesus got his hand cut off and God took off his mask to tell him he was his father. Pretty awesome.
Frank M 181 Posted January 24, 2010 I've met quite a few people who have gone down that road... They all regretted it. EDJR and his girlfriend will be no different, regardless of whether or not they are willing to publicly admit it. So since you've met people who regret it, then all people regret it? Greta argument there.
TheNewGirl 1,637 Posted January 24, 2010 Ed, I really am sorry that you had to make this kind of decision, and only yo and the GF know that is was for the best for you guys. I hope that you do learn from this, though, and wrap your focking meat. As for her/your comment of 'trying again when we know each other better' I am not sure I agree with doing that, but whatever. Best of luck to you both.
Savage Beast 1 Posted January 24, 2010 And I'm sure they'll both agree that they made the right choice. Just like Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahmer, and Ted Bundy did.

tikigods 76 Posted January 24, 2010 They all had girlfriends who got abortions? They can kill people and still get into the Christian heaven. If I stand outside and flip off the clouds and yell that there is no god, besides getting arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, I go to hell. Dumb. But I'm not pompous and arrogant enough to think I have any say whatsoever in a decsion that would be so life-altering to another couple. They're decision. parrot 789 Posted January 25, 2010 Im so sorry every1. Ive been a watcher but....Kid's best option? It was Ed's best option. Maybe medically, the girl's. The kid had no option. To be clear, this was said completely in jest at the idea that it's options were to be raised by Ed or Rusty. And I agree with you, this was about ed and his woman, the kid never entered the equation. RE Mobb depp, yesterday I watched my 11y.o. knock down two free throws to put her team up by one with 29 seconds left in O.T., then swat the opponent's attempt at a game winner. There's no place in the whole focking world I'd have rather been. The great philosopher Buffett once said "Dont' try to describe the scenery if you've never seen it, because you don't know what the fock you're talking about and it makes you look like an asstard" (okay I added that last part, but you get the jist)

Eagles Green 34 Posted January 26, 2010 Your name is either written in the book of life, or it's not. Can you seriously step away from your holier-than-thou life for a sec and read this sentence. Doesn't it seem a little ridiculous and made-up? It sounds like something Disney would come up with? And with the technology that we have now, wouldn't it make more sense for God to keep all of his important files on a computer? A Holy hard drive if you will. I mean, this is God. Me_2006 14 Posted January 26, 2010 I'm not here to comment on whether or not it is right to choose to have kids or to decide not to... I really don't care. If you want them, and want to deal with it, that's fine. And if you don't want them, then go get snipped... it's pretty straight forward and not difficult to do. But Edjr... let's not go running around and pretending this was the best decision. You really don't know, and your unborn child never got a say in the matter. There are many people who grow up from crappy situations such as that and make something of themselves, and many that don't, but somewhere, I miss the point on why it is that you have the arrogance and audacity to make that type of decision for them. This wasn't an ectopic pregnancy where your girlfriend's life was in danger and the child would not survive. This was a "I really dont' want this and I'm going to use a high risk pregnancy as an excuse to get rid of it." type decision, and there's a dead soul that now stands in permanent testimony of that fact... and worse yet, it cannot come back. That little child will haunt you and your girlfriend for the rest of your lives. I can pretty much guarantee that. You can mock savage beast for being an armed Bible thumper all you want, but he made one point that stands true. Your act was cowardly. Instead of facing up to your responsibility and giving the kid a chance, you chose to kill him/her instead, and what you fail to realize is that the easy decision may have provided you some instant relief, but you will soon find out that it will cost you far more than a $15 copay. If you need a shoulder to cry on, PM me. I just pray that through this you and your girlfriend find God and that He shows you more mercy than what you just showed your child. Whoa. mobb_deep 920 Posted January 26, 2010 Whoa. Haha Funny, because I "pray" for the exact opposite for him. We already have enough god fueled sociopaths (Christian/Muslim/Hebrew/etc. etc.), destroying whatever slim chance this world has of ever being peaceful. No god, know peace. Know god, no peace. You are the very reason people hate religous whackos. Judgmental, sensationalizing, holier-than-thou lunatics. Yes, the 'poor child' never had a say in the matter.
