lagarzlebrew 0 Posted February 23, 2011 So I got a coffee maker for a gift, and am going to stop my $4 day habit of buying starbucks or Caribou coffee... I drink regular coffee, no sugar and about a teaspoon of cream, and like Columbian or a little darker blend... So what is the bestt value for the money? Folgers? Dunkin Donuts? Starbucks? What say you?
GobbleDog 824 Posted February 23, 2011 7-11... $1.50 regular/cappuccino mix is my drink. Still a little more expensive than making it, but damn it tastes better.
nikki2200 4 Posted February 23, 2011 This may sound cheesy, but I have a really good coffee machine and my god, Dunkin Donuts coffee is excellent to make at home. I swear by it.

shovelheadt 62 Posted February 24, 2011 If you need something local, this isn't for you. But I know a ton of people that swear by Tim Horton's. http://shopus.timhortons.com/
GettnHuge 1 Posted February 24, 2011 Thats a big list... Just sayin find a couple that are highly rated and not expensor. imho the best coffee makers are like the best beers, which are microbrews. only problem is you've never heard of em and aren't widely sold

jerryskids 5,436 Posted February 24, 2011 This may sound cheesy, but I have a really good coffee machine and my god, Dunkin Donuts coffee is excellent to make at home. I swear by it. I don't think there is anything special about my coffee machine, but for the price of about 3 of those coffees he mentioned, I get a 40 oz bag of Dunkin Donuts from Costco. Ours is original blend; I don't know what options they have. The Kirkland (Costco) brand is even cheaper per ounce and isn't bad.
RLLD 3,563 Posted February 24, 2011 Believe it or not, as far as "store bought" beans, eight o'clock coffee is very good. Agree. After Consumer Reports rated them the best buy, I started buying this too...... But, I still love to splurge on the starbucks breakfast blend.....
