Nicks a question mark for week 2?

Optimistic !!

From somewhere on the web today. I'm thinkin' F it. I'm committing to him. If I don't then I'll get kicked in the ass by going against the "Never Bench Your Studs" theory.

Is anyone else worth the start if he's out? I don't have Manningham but both Hixon and Stokely are out on the wire..

If he is out im going Gibson.

Picked up Hixon, but will probably roll with Nicks. I need him to get 30+ pts...while Caddy gets shut down.

Same here. Although its a moot point for me, as i am down 60 with only Nicks/Gibson left. So maybe Nicks goes 12 receptions for 250 yds and 4 TDs. LOL.

I had a huge week and gambled with Nicks.

Since I've already secured the win, I hope they rest him because he'll like get injured tonight since he's a frail.

Nothing like playing the league low score this week. Guy I played just laid an egg.

I hope they rest him too.

I already won that game.. I'll happily play Hixon, Dizon, whatever his name is tonight.

Same here. I've already got the win, and I have Bradshaw left, plus Gibson waiting in the wings to sub in for Nicks. Rest the guy, please.

Yeah, they really need to be cautious with their stud.

I bet they sit him. Bone bruises are serious business.

Its not our fault we drafted amazing teams and don't really need Nicks. :dunno:

I won this week too, but benched Maclin for him so I would like to get some points out of him as my league considers point more than wins.

Damn....freeking Maclin...who would have thought?

It's always annoying when teams like the Giants are selfish with their studs.

Yeah, playing Nicks tonight might be in their best interest, but it's likely in thousands of FF teams best interest to sit him tonight so he is healthy next week when I need him. "Thousands of teams" trumps "one team" if the Giants aren't selfish bastards.

Hakeem Nicks, WR NYG

News:

NFL Network reports Giants coach Tom Coughlin said he "feels good" about WR Hakeem Nicks (knee) being able to play Monday against the Rams.

Analysis:

Kickoff is nearing and the reports have thus far been good about Nicks. But the doctors are ultimately going to make the final call. If Nicks can't go, then hopefully you added Domenik Hixon off waivers as a replacement option.

They had Manningham in on the 1 receiver sets on the first drive.

Good. Don't tax Nicks.

Wow, Eli is just brutal this year. A pick already.

EDIT: Wow, Eli just under threw a guy by 10 yards on a sideline screen.

Everything he's doing is slow. Did he get concussed last week?

TD NICKS!!!! Horrible pass.

Didn't he catch the ball that was PI?

But they made up for it with the TD :pointstosky:

You must not have any fingernails left to chew off after that game

i tell you what, and perhaps it's bad form to rail on a guy with a concussion, but the giants clearly tried to feature manningham in the first half and manningham played like absolute dung

Shiz I need both.

Hey Dex,

They revised the stat line from last weeks game and gave Nicks the catch. :pointstosky:

Elias and the NFL have made the following official stat changes for NFL Week 2:

Rams at Giants:

A 4th down play originally reported as a first down by penalty has been changed to a 23 yard reception by Hakeem Nicks from Eli Manning.

•4 receptions for 38 yds by Nicks.

•19 of 30 for 223 yds passing by Manning.
