FlaHawker 24 Posted December 6, 2012 Red, Jones, and Mebane make our defense go. The stand up ends have been really underwhelming lately. Agreed. Clemmons and Irvin both play better at home and much better on turf. I expect a huge game on Sunday.
Philo312 41 Posted December 6, 2012 Schools are gungho in forcing kids to eat Adderall by the handful. An NFL player does it, and it costs him 25% of his yearly salary. So, THERE'S your discussion. The League ALLOWS Adderall WITH A PRESCRIPTION, ..it's banned if taken WITHOUT A SCRIPT. Big difference.
phillybear 366 Posted December 6, 2012 The League ALLOWS Adderall WITH A PRESCRIPTION, ..it's banned if taken WITHOUT A SCRIPT. Big difference. Let me redirect. Some players can use a banned substance, and some cannot. Based on a doctor's note. That sounds insane. And very unfair. How can this not be a lawsuit? So, how many players are allowed to smoke up some pot and suit up, because they have a doctor's note?
Joey Gladstone 33 Posted December 6, 2012 I prefer not mentioning him, but to a certain guy that I'm sure is lurking around here, without the balls to post since his team blew a game that was practically handed to them.... Start Russell Wilson this week "Sweety"

The NFL recognizes Adderall has legitimate medical benefits and allows it when prescribed correctly. If a player has a legit scrip for Adderall, Ritalin or any ADHD drug, they merely need to inform the league and fill out the paperwork before the season. Then those failed drug tests are tossed out. All players need to do is find a shady doctor who's liberal with his scrip pad.

Well, maybe not as horrific as the NBA and Stern fining a team for resting their old starters to get a breather, forcing team to stat hurt players in the future to avoid fines. Or fining a player for hitting a person on offense too hard. Jumping Jehosophat, sports is getting more ridiculous by the day.

phillybear 366 Posted December 9, 2012 Hi.... I could really use a couple of sacks out of Chris Clemons today. Thanks sc Our pass rush has been sh!t the last few weeks, utterly useless. And if I recall correctly, the first game of the season we were facing a shaky Arizona offensive line and got almost no pressure on the QB the entire game. On the other hand, the defense had done well in shutting down Skelton, but he got hurt in the 2nd half and Kolb came in and carved up the defense. Good luck. phillybear 366 Posted December 9, 2012 im relying on golden tate as my wr3 I could be wrong, but my guess is that Seattle goes run heavy today, to keep the excellent Arizona pass rush away from Wilson. But it's just a guess. But if Wilson does throw, the only guys getting nearly all the playing time, like 95% of offensive snaps, are Rice, Tate, Baldwin, and Zack Miller. Well, Baldwin might be less than 95%, bu5t it more than 50%. Cutting Braylon Edwards further limits the available targets. Good luck.

phillybear 366 Posted December 9, 2012 Hi.... I could really use a couple of sacks out of Chris Clemons today. Thanks sc Sack, forced fumble, and fumble recovery on the same play. That's gotta be worth something.
phillybear 366 Posted December 9, 2012 At the risk of the mush, is there any chance, slim that it might be, that I might be able to spend the 2nd half NOT chewing on my fingernails, for the first time since Week 2.... Nah. It'll never happen. Overtime, here we come.
phillybear 366 Posted December 9, 2012 The defense has forced a piss poor low total of turnovers this year and has zero defensive TDs. ZERO. I'd say whatever they are doing ain't working. And the very next game.... Spooky. The Seattle Seahawks have have never won a SuperBowl and has zero championships. ZERO. I'd say whatever they are doing ain't working. :whistlingpastthegrave:

phillybear 366 Posted December 9, 2012 its only the Cards, but its good to see The Hawks kick the sh!t out of somebody. The Cowboys game was the only other comfortable game all season long. Minnesota was a double digit win, but was a come from behind win. Arizona or not, it feels like a game where the frustration of so many close games is being focused into a single opponent, and there is no doubt Arizona has packed it in for the season. I hope. Please don't rally and make me eat my fist. I wonder if Sherman's strategy is the keep posting his suspension hearing until next season. It's been pushed back from Dec 14th, from what I understand. I'm really disappointed that Washington won, as they and the Giants are the only teams that can beat us on on a tiebreaker for a wildcard, based in conference record. Well, let me take that back, Seattle would pull even with Washington at 6-4 with the win over Arizona. I'll dive into common opponents and see if I can find an answer by the 2nd half. Pinnacle put out a Red Liquorice flavored vodka, which I will mix into the rotation right now. Not bad, not bad at all. Seattle has run 18 offensive plays in the first half. And.....picked off Skelton. Did I hear right that Lynch is in the locker room with a back issue? Uh oh.
phillybear 366 Posted December 9, 2012 This sh!t is b-a-n-a-n-a-s! Indeed, my friend, indeed. Miami is down 13-6 to San Fran. We can hope.
Joey Gladstone 33 Posted December 9, 2012 Yeah, we should be able to squeak by with Sherman the rest of the way. Thurmond and Tru can make up for Browner, who'll have a glorious return in the palyoffs.

phillybear 366 Posted December 9, 2012 Remember how good Arizona looked the first month of the season? They still have some good pieces but they have some glaring weaknesses. Like holding on to the ball. What the hell, is that 6 turnovers in the 1st half? TD Miller. Feel good to finally get that guy some rewards for all his hard work. 38- to focking nothing. Now this is what a revenge game feels like.
phillybear 366 Posted December 9, 2012 I guess never mind the Lynch back. He got another carry since my post. Still, feed Turbin and rest Lynch. We will need him down the stretch. I can see Lynch on the sidelines chanting "Feed Me More. Feed Me More"
southcarolina 166 Posted December 9, 2012 Sack, forced fumble, and fumble recovery on the same play. That's gotta be worth something. Oh yes my friend. Sixteen points. And a whole half to wreak more havoc. Dont you just love it when Sunday morning acquisitions blow up for you?
phillybear 366 Posted December 9, 2012 As of this week, if Seattle holds on to win, Seattle will now own the tiebreaker on Washington. No head to head, even in conference record, so it comes down to common opponents. The opponents: St Louis, Minnesota, Carolina, Dallas. Seattle is 3-1 with a game vs St Louis to go. Washington is 2-2 with game vs Dallas to go.

phillybear 366 Posted December 9, 2012 45-0. I'm sitting here, pissing my pants, as I don't want to waste a trip to the bathroom and miss any of this action. Um, other Seattle fans, rejoice. You will not hear any griping from me. For this week, anyway. Piss your pants.
Joey Gladstone 33 Posted December 9, 2012 Hmm, well there goes my fantasy season. Nice to see Lynch racking up the stats...but with the score couldn't we have given Turbin some extra work?

phillybear 366 Posted December 9, 2012 MATT FLYNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
phillybear 366 Posted December 9, 2012 Flynn, good read, high throw, blew a TD toss. 48-0. Arizona with I believe 7 turnovers. Miami cuts the SF lead to 20-13. They are still alive and kicking. That's were the focus is now. Also, Carroll, be smart, and yank starters.
phillybear 366 Posted December 9, 2012 Well, since I'm tipsy and babbling like a babbling something or other, of course a Seattle win moves them into the #5 playoff slot in the NFC since they and Chicago would both be 8-5, and Seattle owns head to head, from last week.
