Houston Texans 10 Posted December 30, 2012 Living in Philadelphia, I support this city's reputation for treating opposing fans like garbage. Football was never meant to be a family sport, especially attending a game. That's for baseball. Football is all about tailgating at 5:00 AM with beers, eggs, and beers. Passing in and out of consciousness in the stands. Vomiting on the fans of other teams. Threatening the lives of children. Fighting. Urinating off the upper decks onto the poor souls down below. And then the 2nd quarter starts. And if you prefer to be at home, which I certainly do, then you scream at your significant other to leave you the fock alone for the entire Sunday. Or your cat. Whatever. Football was never meant to be a family function. It's a man's game, for men. Says the Internet tough guy who probably never strapped on a set of pads in his life. If you had, you'd know that players hate that stuff. They have family in the stands, & they understand that the idiotic ###### you posted has NOTHING to do with football, rather that is what the has beens @ never was guys do when they are trying to relive their "glory days" & forget about their miserable lives. MEN who play football would rather the people in the stands support their team without being ###### about it.
Houston Texans 10 Posted December 30, 2012 Link to me claiming I was part of the team? You said, "my house;" implying that the stadium is your house. So either you were suggesting you are a homeless bum who lives in the bowels of the stadium, or you were trying to suggest you were part of the team, and it is your "home" stadium. donhaas 18 Posted December 30, 2012 I get that. And props to you. But kids change the equation. If you don't have any now, you'll understand when you do. I think it's tough for a virgin to have kids (Blessed Mary aside!).... I'm pretty sure we don't have to worry about it in FlaHawker's case Lifelong abused anti-social nerds like FlaHawker are the only people who get off on bullying and taunting someone when you have a 50-to-1 advantage... But there's nothing manly about it... FOOTBALL IS A MAN's MANS GAME! SNAP INTO A SLIMJIM!!! I agree with this. Those are huge, fast athletes who put their lives and health on the line every time you go out there... those are real men. However, you are not, tubby Seahawks fan. There's no manliness in shoving 13 hotdogs in your bloated, middle-aged piehole and slobbering ketchup all over your XXXL Russell Wilson jersey while swearing at and harrassing a kid in a 49ers jersey... I welcome other team's fans into Lambeau Field as long as you are kind and respectful. I don't really need to bully you and swear at you to feel like a man. Of course, donhaas is 6'4, 225 and the Packers usually win much more than the Seahawks, so we're not really bitter a-holes, either

Players have their wh0res sitting in the stands, all gussied up and looking wh0relike. Their families are sitting at home where they belong. Everybody else needs to behave like roided up uncaged bellowing animals. It's blatantly irresponsible to take your h0m0 children to a game into the mouth of danger. The more dangerous the stands, the more gooder. I know what it's like to have a fanbase sit in stands and root for guys like us that wore pads, and I can assure you that women and kids can't scream bloody murder and are useless attending games. Your basic lack of understanding such a simple fact absolves you of any testosterone whatsoever. I suggest you join the forums of naturallycurly.com

While the history you talk so fondly about only extends to 1976, most of Green Bay's success is not permissible by this court of law. You also conveniently ignore the decade or so of dominance by this franchise along with a sack full of division titles and playoff wins. The greatest modern day folk hero is the bus driver that was attacked in Cleveland. He calming pulled over the bus and said the legendary words, "I don’t care! She want to be a man, I’m gonna treat you like a man!” and slugged that criminal with a mighty uppercut. A woman put a whole bus full of people in life threatening danger by punching a driver as he was operating a bus. And a hero emerged. A moment of silence for a man that we should all aspire to emulate.

Lackman 0 Posted December 30, 2012 Eh, it just doesn't feel the same when the insane Pittsburgh and Chicago and Eagle fans hardly troll our thread anymore. We're now squawking with an occasional Green Bay and Washington fan. Not even the San Fran fans go full tilt. There's more infighting than anything else. Just not the same 'ole fun. Houston Texans 10 Posted December 30, 2012 No wonder. Jan. 14, 2006 - NFC Divisional Round - Seattle 20, Washington 10 Okay; as long as we are bringing up old stuff that has nothing to do with the conversation at hand, how many Super Bowls have the Seahawks won? Ever? BTW-Your "off to the red zone" comment demonstrates that you don't know much about football; week 17 would be the perfect time for someone who truly understands football to actually watch a game, & not merely follow stats. How many decades do you have to go back to find the Redskins in a Superbowl? 25? Really? So, instead of getting the scoop on every game and watching all of them, you suggest watching one game at a time. Look, not everybody has the attention span of a focking retard as you seem to have, but find me a matchup at 1:00 EST that means anything to Seattle? Green Bay vs Minnesota (4:00) San Fran vs Ariz (4:00) Seattle vs St Louis (4:00) Dallas vs Washington (8:30) Hey, maybe I can catch the barn burner of a game between Carolina and New Orleans. You're incredibly stupid for a retard.
Kopy 571 Posted December 30, 2012 Wouldn't it turn kinda strange if Lackman was a Wilson supporter. But Phillybear wasn't? The internal conflict and self destruction would play out right in front of our very eyes. I'd get my popcorn ready.
Lacoop 0 Posted December 30, 2012 I'm new to these boards and am a Seahawks fan. Russell Wilson has been a pleasant surprise and is proving that sometimes the "little guy" can step up big. But what I've always wondered is ... why is there an "Official Seattle Seahawks" thread with over 30000+ views while there don't seem to be any other team threads? Seems like there should be threads for other teams that would be heavily viewed.

Then there are the obsessive sociopaths, like myself, who post way too much, chatter about every little thing Seahawk related, and fight with the fans of other teams. It's a badge of honor. There used to be threads for other teams too, but those members have drifted away from the bored over the years. The Seattle fans have not only stayed, but multiplied in number. But, even in the rebuilding years, we fight with the others. Plus, when we were calling threads "It's an exciting time to be a Seahawk fan", that is kind of a light to moths and attracts spirited posting.
Lackman 0 Posted December 30, 2012 Looks like Sweezey is starting over Moffit again, which I guess means Moffit is officially a backup now. It's probable that of the 3 drafts under Carroll Schneider, the Carpenter and Moffitt year is going to known as the weakest.

uwmalcolm 74 Posted December 31, 2012 Anyone watching this Seahawks game? I saw a 28 yard fumble return td pop up on ESPN but then nothing... Seattle D letting me down so far... Maybe you should watch games instead of just following on the Internet and watching highlights (reference to Texans guy) Anyway, Bradford got hit and flung the ball down as he was going down. Hawks D returned for a TD but replay ruled his arm was going forward.

Lackman 0 Posted December 31, 2012 Hell of a year with a rookie QB, should have a decent match up next week also. NFC West!! It's disappointing to not get the #2 seed, but Dallas/Washington are certainly flawed and beatable. If the Seahawks get by that game, and the expectation is that Green Bay wins the rematch with Minnesota, then it's Seattle vs Atlanta, Green Bay going to San Fran. I don't mind taking a shot at Atlanta before Green Bay. But, one game at a time. Damn, St Louis is going to be a problem in the division in the next few years.
