NewbieJr 541 Posted November 27, 2012 The Phillies have a more recent win than the Beagles. Seven losses in a row, baby. That's how you rebuild. It's all about draft picks now. Whoot!

Cruzer 1,996 Posted November 27, 2012 Eagles v. Cowboys Sunday night - gawd what a focking horrible game to have on prime time tv. Still hoping Philly beats the hell out of us and pushes Clowny to swallow a bottle of pills.

The only thing worse than being an absolutely horrible team, is being thought of as having playoff potential before the season starts. That means you get to suck in prime time a few times a year. MDC 7,889 Posted November 27, 2012 They are probably the worst team in the NFL right now I wouldn't pick them against anyone. The Jags are actually moving the ball really well. The Chiefs suck too but they're playing teams tough. I can't think of anyone else as bad. That secondary and OL are both just atrocious.

I know you want it all to implode, and by losing to Philly this might it just might, but Dude.....i question your devotion. BTW Mr. Staubach is as good as any player ever.....my all time fave. BTW Mr. Staubach is as good as any player ever.....my all time fave. I'm old school like you - fan since '75, my devotion is as deep as they come. But Clowny Jones has turned this once great franchise into the Oakland Raiders - a laughing stock of the NFL. The incredible legacy that Tex Schramm and Landry built is gone, and it disgusts me. If you want to be a blind homer and take it, be my guest - I expect more of my team, especially this one.
edjr 6,898 Posted November 28, 2012 I feel for Andy Reid. he's been a great coach in a terrible city. he lost his son because of his devotion to his job. He doesn't deserve to go out like this. be nice to see him get a job in a better more worthy city

I'm almost "Old School" (64) "Elementary" .......you're "Middle School" I TOTALLY HEAR You and to a large degree agree with you. I HATE the Way Jerry treated the LEGENDARY Tom Landry and there's really no excuse for that, BUT the Team / Franchise was going downhill fast. When Jerry & Jimmy came, it was was a Stone Cold Kick Ass Festival!!!! True it took a couple years to come to the surface, but as a DIEHARD Cowboy Fan it was one of the Greatest NFL Rides ever. "Clowny" makes mistakes but much like me and my Fantasy Football style....he tries REALLY FRICKIN' HARD to produce a Champion.

He doesn't deserve to go out like this. be nice to see him get a job in a better more worthy city Andy Reid is a good coach but not a great one and he's vastly overrated by the national media. He was lucky to join the Eagles at a time when the division was terrible, none of the other teams had a franchise QB and the conference had no dominant teams. To his credit he drafted and developed McNabb into a very good QB and took advantage by winning a lot of games. Now that the NFC is far better, Jim Johnson is gone and the D full of studs he inherited have retired, Reid's deficiencies as a coach are more obvious. Namely his passing the ball to much, mismanaging the clock and failing to make any adjustments. Worst of all the D is full of overpaid loafers and on the whole the team appears to have quit. That's what you get when you fail to draft a single impact player on D for 6-7 years running and try to paper it over with big ticket FA acquisitions. I appreciate the job Reid has done and wish him well, but it's time he loves on.

Unforunately Clowny Jones the GM is a focking moron who hasn't a clue how to evaluate, build, or manage a roster. Which is a crying shame bcoz he has an owner that is willing to spend all kinds of $$ to make the team better. The list of bombs and horrendous transactions made by our GM reads like a Larry David skit - the dude is clueless. Clowny needs to fire himself, hand over the keys, and keep to his office and writing checks. It's been 17 years since the Boys sniffed a title game - it doensn't get any more clearer than this that he doesn't know what he's doing.

He is a businessman and he is very successful at what he does. He is probably the most successful owner in the NFL. The fact that he can do that with a poor product makes it even more amazing. And the product is poor mostly due to JJ's ego.
