WhiteWonder 2,196 Posted May 6, 2013 You dont seem too concerned with the backup rb talent behind charles, rice, mccoy, or morris. i'd be more concerned with FJax still taking too many touches in buffalo. Brown is a concern in Philly and to a degree pierce in baltimore. I think Shanny may have finally settled on a RB.

jocstrap 8 Posted May 6, 2013 Surprised to see Fitz in any top 12. That said I think he's an excellent value at whatever ADP he settles in at. Here is why he caught me eye (Rotoworld) New Cardinals coach Bruce Arians says he's targeting "over 100 catches and 10-15 touchdowns" for Larry Fitzgerald in 2013. Analysis: Reggie Wayne looked washed up before Arians got a hold of him in 2012, and Wayne's career renaissance at age 34 wrapped up with a 106/1,355/12.8/5 line. Fitzgerald is only 29 years old with plenty of good football left. Arians' highly vertical, pass-happy offense and Carson Palmer can help rejuvenate him. (Rotoworld) Larry Fitzgerald said he is in "prove it mode" this season. Analysis: Fitzgerald posted a 71/798/4 line last year, ranking 42nd among fantasy wideouts. "I'm coming off the most disappointing season of my career," he said. Now that the Cardinals finally have a capable quarterback in Carson Palmer and an aggressive offensive coach in Bruce Arians, Fitzgerald's stock is on the rise. It won't be a surprise if he finishes among the top-12 fantasy wideouts in 2013.

weepaws 2,489 Posted May 30, 2013 Fitz will be back to form with Palmer! i agree that he will be back but all that other stuff about what the coach is saying ..what else is he going to say ...i have never seen a coach say that he thinks his player is washed up and just is not a good player anymore no question he will be better how can he get worst imo ....i see him doing alot better
Stewburtx8 67 Posted May 30, 2013 Only one I'm concerned about there is Bryce Brown in Philly, otherwise McCoy would be higher. I don't think there is any reason to be concerned about Brown. He will get his share of touches, but the Eagles are going to run the ball A LOT more this year. So while Kelly may use multiple backs, McCoy is still the bellcow, and there will be plenty of touches to go around. I guess that was just a long way of saying that McCoy will get his usually compliment of touches, while Brown may also have some standalone value in deep leagues because of how much I think the Eagles will use their RB's this year. CornKobb 48 Posted May 30, 2013 Coach Doug Marone said he will not take Spiller off the field like Gailey did the last few years on Rotoworld yesterday. Thoughts on him in a ppr could be HUGE imo. Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted June 1, 2013 Spiller not built for 350 touches but we're going to see No he is not, and as a spiller owner i would prefer his work load be lighter than that. He doesnt need that many touches to put up prolific numbers though. Jackson will get timenon the field but shouldnt be much more than typical rest for the main carry rb. WhiteWonder 2,196 Posted June 2, 2013 3rd year this will be his break out season. i don't think the third year WR theory applies to guys like AJ and Julio who have already broken out. it's more for guys who have shown flashes of talent and take 3 years to put it all together.
sirensong 111 Posted June 4, 2013 i don't think the third year WR theory applies to guys like AJ and Julio who have already broken out. it's more for guys who have shown flashes of talent and take 3 years to put it all together. this is exactly right. a lot of dominant college WRs come to the NFL and find out that they can't just win on raw physical talent. they need to learn their craft, and it normally takes about 3 years to learn the nuances of routerunning, reading defenses, and so on. dez bryant is a perfect example of this--when he was drafted, he talked a lot about loving the game and being aggressive and so forth. now, in interviews, he talks about the nuances of how jerry rice ran particular routes and how coverages work. saying 'green is going to become the #2 WR in the league automatically because he has now played 3 seasons' is...well...
