May as well take advantage.....Anyone know about this? It's pretty genius. Basically it's an app that you download and log in through Facebook. But it's big selling point is privacy, in that it'll never post anything on your Facebook timeline anywhere. That's a must for someone as vain as I am. Then it's basically like the old "Hot or Not". You set your search parameters (I went with ages 25-40 and within 25 miles) and you start scrolling through pics. All it gives you is their pic (up to 5), name, and how many miles away they are. You simply say click "Yes" or "No" based on nothing but looks. They do the same. The genius is the other person just disappears forever after that click...... unless you both click YES to each other. Then you can text. So there is no rejection or anything. I read an article (on Grantland of all places) about it and got on there yesterday just for kicks. I'm picky. Only saying YES to 9's and above. Yet there are tons of good looking chicks using it. I've already gotten about 15 matches and had convos with a handful. If a guy wanted to lower his standards a bit, I think he can find a girl for every night of the week. I have no idea how long it'll hold my interest, but I can't imagine how awesome this would have been back in college. I was in a relationship/marriage from 2001-2011. Is this the new world? But the article got me interested enough to check it out, and what was shocking was the amount of hot girls on it. Suddenly it didn't seem nearly as gay. I'm unsure what it's ultimate use is. I have done some reading and one common play is to be drunk on a Saturday at 1am and search for people within 5 miles of you. I just think it's very interesting that the hookup/casual sex/dating culture for single people is heading in such an obvious direction. And I had another girl give me a bunch of free pills. Never even met her. I just told her where my car was and cracked a window. She agreed to drop a baggie in for me. But back then, you had to post about hobbies and music and whatnot to build a profile. This is better. It's just pics. You either would or you wouldn't. Lets be honest, that's all its about anyway. I said fock it at some point and expanded my search parameters to ages 18-50, because who cares. I have no clue how many girls I click yes vs no on, but the general rule is I'll click sure on 7's and above. I know this is tough to believe, but those 18-25 year olds are much hotter than older chicks. Go figure. I've gotten roughly 200 matches. I have a stock opener text that they all get. Based on responses, I either keep talking or block them. I've gotten about 25 phone numbers. Met 4 girls...Highlights: - Met a 26 year old. She tricked me with angles in photos. Looked like a 9, ended up a 5. I got drunk and had sex with her anyway. Sent one text the next day and haven't talked to her in 3+ weeks since. - Met a 40 year old. Pics were an 8, in person a 10. Rich divorced chick. 5'2, 105 lbs. Lives in uptown alone in possibly a million dollar house. Saw her twice. Got oral on night 1, and 2 hours of sex on night two (including edjr sex). She told me she has zero interest in a relationship. So plan to see her again. Sends good pics. - Met a 27 year old. 8 in pics and 8 in person. She was really boring and not into anything. I never suspect the girl of being fake...but it eliminates the realistic possibility, and more importantly it breaks down the mental barrier they have about sending me pics.
