Googballz 39 Posted March 20, 2014 You have a career in comedy in the future, that's for sure. Especially if by twisting your words, you mean that I used the exact ones you said, because that's exactly what I did. Post #180.
MDC 7,661 Posted March 20, 2014 Nope, numbskull. He was posting as Recliner Pilot on FBG for quite some time long before ever coming to FFT. I read those posts with my own eyes. Those that think Recliner Pilot is RustySyringes are mistaken. This is been debunked so many times over the years, yet the conspiracy won't go away. It's sad and depressing. They are two different characters. Edit: this bored stinks at alias busting. That explains why RP claimed to live nowhere near Rusty, then later said he lived in Beaumont with Rusty, then the two of them talked about meeting for poker night at Jose's house , until RP pennied those threads in shame when the FBI Surveillance Van drudged them up years later. Explain to me why he deleted those threads?
Phurfur 70 Posted March 20, 2014 And 41,000 were posted from work. Also, I've been a member for 10 years. That's 120 months. That's roughly 350 posts per month. You've been a member for one month. You have 380 posts. Guess you're living larger! Ah, Newbie the lazy socialist with no ambition and no goals.

Explain to me why he deleted those threads? Sure, they both lived in towns somewhat in the same area in Texas. I could name 10 current or past Geeks that live within a 30 minute car ride from me. But, during all the family issues and significant personal stuff Rusty has been going through, he set aside the time to dedicate 50,000 posts to an alias spanning years and multiple sites and never breaking character? Really? Mike and the other mods delete threads constantly. They delete many of my posts. I can't tell you who deletes what and when and how. If you can, then you got one on me. phillybear 366 Posted March 20, 2014 Also, Rusty had many, many aliases. We got bored with them quickly and would log in and out of them regularly. He wouldn't stick with any alias for any significant time. I understand that mindset. That would be a complete departure of character to hijack Recliner Pilot and post that much for that long. phillybear 366 Posted March 20, 2014 RP is famous for deleting threads that end up biting him in the ass. As far as I know, you don't do that. I couldn't even tell you how to delete a thread. Why bother? I know that at least at one point in bored history, that functionality was disabled. The two most notorious thread deletors are peenie and MDC, especially back in the day. If you want to say Recliner Pilot, I won't disagree. I just haven't noticed it.
MDC 7,661 Posted March 20, 2014 Sure, they both lived in towns somewhat in the same area in Texas. I could name 10 current or past Geeks that live within a 30 minute car ride from me. Philadelphia is a city of 2.5 million residents. Buttmont has 100,000. That doesn't necessarily mean that they're the same person, but the fact that RP claimed to not live in Buttmont and forgot about threads in the archive where he said he lives blocks away from Rusty is awfully suspicious, and those suspicions were later confirmed when he deleted those threads. But, during all the family issues and significant personal stuff Rusty has been going through, he set aside the time to dedicate 50,000 posts to an alias spanning years and multiple sites and never breaking character? Really? I know, what a total focking loser. It almost makes me feel bad for him when you put it that way.
Sho Nuff 720 Posted March 20, 2014 ReclinerPilot does not do aliases. Not his style. Has anyone considered the return of GettnHuge under a different handle? Not his style...til he possibly got banned or locked out like Sux. Then comes back in...trying to be coy...but still falls back into some of his usual schtick. As I said, if its not him, its someone trying to act a lot like him.

You can't name a single thread I've ever deleted but you remember me deleting threads back in 2004. This must have happened around that time you ran me off the board for a year when I went on vacation or something. You must've missed the FBI Surveillance Van thread. RP made a total flaming ass javelin out of himself and when we laughed at him he cried, wet his panties and 86'd the thread. It was pretty awesome.
phillybear 366 Posted March 20, 2014 I know, what a total focking loser. It almost makes me feel bad for him when you put it that way. Rusty is a funny guy. You're saying he went 50,000 posts and masked his sense of humor. Hell, the alias with the most posts that I have is Lackman, which clocks in around 2,000. It didn't take that long for people to figure out it was me because you will see some low hanging fruit and snipe away with some typical line and risk exposing yourself. You can't help it. Otherwise, resisting makes you bored after a while. It's not logical. I don't know these threads you refer to that were deleted. I must not have been around that week or whatever. But my earliest memories of Recliner Pilot's profile was he lived near Rusty. Of course, Rusty has moved a few times since. Fine. Get one of the creeps from the Sanctuary to confirm or deny. I am still saying they are not the same.

Nope. I can't name the thread titles. But you were immersed in a war with folks from the Sanctuary, and you deletored threads. Someone created an alias called MDC Thread Deletor or something similar, who would make an appearance when one of those threads turned ugly. Hey, everybody got a turn inside the barrel. As I said, back in the day, so you've probably rehabbed yourself from that ignominy. I never read the FBI van thread. My loss, apparently.
Phurfur 70 Posted March 20, 2014 Ukraine prepared to pull its troops and their families from Crimea as President Obama ruled out use of the U.S. military in the West's dispute with Russia over its seizure of the peninsula. National Security and Defense Council secretary Andriy Parubiy said that Ukraine will seek U.N. support to turn Crimea into a demilitarized zone as it prepares to relocate as many as 25,000 soldiers and their families to the Ukrainian mainland. Thousands of Ukrainian soldiers and sailors are trapped on military bases, surrounded by heavily armed Russian forces and pro-Russia militia. "We are working out a plan of action so that we can transfer not just servicemen, but, first of all, members of their family who are in Crimea, quickly and effectively to mainland Ukraine," Parubiy said. Russia's State Duma lower house of parliament on Thursday overwhelmingly approved the treaty to annex Crimea from Ukraine, Reuters reported. The Federation Council upper house will hold a vote on Friday, completing ratification of the treaty that was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday. http://www.foxnews.com/world/2014/03/20/ukraine-abandons-bases-in-crimea-as-obama-rules-out-military-action/?intcmp=latestnews

MDC 7,661 Posted March 20, 2014 I had beers with rusty. He admitted he was RP. Rusty had a desperate need to be liked. But he also had some pretty extreme right-wing views. Hence his alter ego. Stunning he totally had me fooled.

NewbieJr 541 Posted March 20, 2014 Personally, I do not think RP is Rusty. I used to chat with Rusty all the time. He was a cool guy. Would send me his CDs and we'd talk about music and guitar playing. He was also an intelligent guy, as it would show in his threads. RP NEVER talks about music. Does not go into music threads. Has ZERO knowledge of it. RP is also totally one dimensional. And has about half of the IQ as Rusty. I also don't think that Gooeyballz is RP. I'm not saying it's impossible. Shonuff is correct, they both are total political nutjobs. Regardless of any situation, "Obama is terrible" is the bottom line. It takes a special kind of stupid to reduce everything to such a juvenile conclusion. Their 24/7 obsession with politics and lack of interest for any other topic is also something they share. As are their reluctance to ever predict an outcome or elicit a thought on how Obama should handle a situation, beforehand. They are both fine Monday morning quarterbacks, though. And both play word games once they get caught being wrong or speaking out of both sides of their mouths. Hmmm, I'm almost talking myself in to the fact that they are the same person. Googballz 39 Posted March 20, 2014 It looks as though Obama freezing non-existent U.S. bank accounts of a few Putin minions didn't scare Putin as Obama expected it to. Russia hits back with its own sanctions after U.S. 'hostile thrust'MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia imposed retaliatory sanctions on nine U.S. officials and lawmakers on Thursday as tension over Moscow's annexation of Crimea mounted, warning the West it would hit back over "every hostile thrust". Deputy national security advisers Ben Rhodes and Caroline Atkinson and senators John McCain, Harry Reid and Mary Landrieu, Dan Coats and Robert Menendez were among the Americans barred from Russia, the Foreign Ministry said. The others were House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner and Dan Pfeiffer, a senior adviser to President Barack Obama. http://news.yahoo.com/russia-hits-back-own-sanctions-u-hostile-thrust-160038686.html;_ylt=AwrBJR.1FStT0i0AfvrQtDMD

crackattack 520 Posted March 20, 2014 I don't like Obama, but what is he suppose to do? He/EU will impose sanctions, get other countries involved, but thats all America can do. This is a EU problem not an American problem. We are not the world police! We should only help if the EU asks for it. This is not our fight! As an ex-military guy I hope we dont send one troop to help out. If surrounding countries ask for a troop presence in their countries, then fine. There is nothing the US can do besides sanctions or military action. I'm going with sanctions and let the EU go fock themselves. Russia will do what Russia wants to do unless the EU stands up for themselves.
Sho Nuff 720 Posted March 20, 2014 Newbie, MDC and Sho Nuff_34. Link? I think he is handling it correctly as far as going through diplomatic measures first. By getting other nations involved and not going in guns-a-blazing on our own (like we basically did in Iraq the 2nd time around). He erred in completely taking even the threat of military intervention off the table (at least in public). So, now that you are shown to be wrong (as usual), how do you think it should have been handled?

He has to keep the thread of that (no matter how stupid because people know were are not getting into some land war in Ukraine with Russia)...but has to keep it in his pocket IMO. They have to go with sanctions and work with the EU and so on. But some, that are not as level headed as you...have to complain about everything. No matter what he does.
