shotsup 833 Posted April 7, 2014 Weird I was taking to my sister (flat) this morning and she said they had tickets to see him in local theater. I said I didn't know he was still touring. This was before either of us knew he was a dead. Not the same impact as my parents having tickets to see Elvis in August 1977 at NVMC.
Old School 360 Posted April 7, 2014 Damn. Funny dude.
shotsup 833 Posted April 7, 2014 I posted this because he was too old for posty to care. I met him in the 90's and was a down to earth kinda guy. Didn't seem to be "always on" as a comedian. Regular dude.

Big Blue 06 195 Posted April 7, 2014 That's a shame. I know a lot of people who liked him, though I never really got into his stuff. Still sad to hear.

My wife is dragging me to see Keith Urban at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, MA on July 26th. Please have someone in your family buy tickets.

TimmySmith 2,783 Posted April 7, 2014 Very funny guy and somehow unfunny, sadsack Louie Anderson is the poster child for fat comedians.

Herbivore 1,151 Posted April 7, 2014 RIP, but not funny.
NewbieJr 541 Posted April 7, 2014 I suppose he was funny, in that he could make you laugh. But his humor was basically making fun of how fat he was. Pretty simple stuff. He just said what everyone was thinking. And that made it funny. Funny? yes. Clever? Not really.
