Delay has Andre Ellington as his #1 RB. Good luck with that. When you need a RB I like Dez and Alshon.

ellington is 1 of 2 other players i was considering when i took Vereen. as i privately told delay, I feel i know what im getting from Vereen. a fairly set role in the passing game with the possibility of an expanded role in the run game. Ellington has all the promise in the world but a less clear picture of role / how he can handle a bigger workload. very well might have grabbed ellington is vereen was off the board.

Well the two players I really wanted are gone. I thought at least one would fall for sure.

You might need to trade for a RB #2 as well. I had Vereen way down my list. We'll see. I actually like Vereen and Ellington's talent, but worry about their slight frames and workload they will be given.

Now I Know Alf Isnt Appr Guy But I Like Him Alot here.

I was hoping he'd fall to me. I could have kept him with a second round transistion tag. I would have been very happy with that outcome.

Also, the rules don't show that RB gets PPR's.

Rushing

.1- per yard

6- TD from 49 yards or less

8- TD from 50 yards or more

2- 2 pt conversion

-1 - per fumble lost

Vereen is the same size as guys like McCoy and Charles. im not saying he can handle the same workload, i didn't draft him thinking he would. 100 rush attempts is fine. he had like 40 last year and was #11 in ppg. :dunno:

also i don't care much about a 2nd back. as stated before im barely playing for this season

Yeah but rbs dont get points per reception. A bit risky imo.

I was drafting with the assumption they werent, because that is the way it is stated in the rules.

ahh i see. the rules here on this forum?

I think you are interpreting "rushing" scoring to mean 'RB' scoring. i believe it means rushing, regardless of position. where receiving is receiving regardless of position.

Ok its broke down into rushing and receiving. I was thinking running backs and receivers. Oh well. Still wouldnt have drafted much different.

what a windfall for kutulu. getting to keep ball and mccoy for the cost of the last pick in the 4th. getting the first pick... i would have taken DT i think but either way.

if you told me i could start a fantasy team with McCoy, Ball, DThomas and still have 2nd and 3rd rounds picks, id jizz my pants.

It is PPR for everyone -- sorry I will go back and add if not there

Sankey was a great pick. I strongly debated him with my early 2nd round pick.

wow

that've surprised me a little.

no harm in liking a guy enough to spend that kind of pick on him tho.

Rushing is not limited to RBS much the same way receiving is not limited to WRs

Yeah i just read it wrong. scoring rules arent usually broken down like that.

i actually like it better... just having it neatly as Passing, Rushing, Receiving. less stuff to write out than having to cover what happens when a RB throws a pass or a receiver runs the ball, etc.

Bell

Morris

Marsha Marsha Marsha

D Train

I got 2 solid "RB 2"'s

I got two solid top 5 WR's

Something tells me I might regret not taking Foster though

I don't think you're going to feel the same way by the end of the year. I just don't like that he hurt his back and had surgery. I also get the feeling he isn't as dedicated to his profession as other rbs are. I can see him taking a little off his game so he can collect a few more checks and then retire.
