***OFFICIAL Royals v Orioles ALCS Series Thread***

Recommended Posts

That's what speed do

Speed didn't do it - The Royals pitched great when they needed to 8th n 9th (especially) Orioles just looked nervous as hell on the mound and paid for it. They were jittery early pitching and that caught up with them to the tune of 4-0 hole. They gathered themselves and their bats got them all caught up then the Pitching went the way of the Indian -- 14 straight balls  . If the O's Pitching calms down I still think they win the series in 6 games

after we take this thing in KC, it seems many of your fans that are traveling would probably be ok going to Wichita

also, your chants are dumb

and the comments are funny to go back and read from the beginning. Let's see Yordano go lights out as he has fared well against the O's, especially at Camden and be in the driver's seat heading back to the ALCS at the K for the first time in 29 years!

O's fans aren't the best it seems. Lost hope. Royals power did that. I enjoyed it.

looks like no team has ever went 0-2 starting at home in a LCS and come back to win the championship

let's hope KC doesn't have a meltdown and allow that to happen

Anybody want to trade a 2-0 lead in the AL Championship series for this lovely and attractive Central Division Championship banner?

You know what's funny is that as long as this works out, the Royals will have taken out all the top teams in the AL in the playoffs except the Tiggers :D

I told the group I was out with Friday for Happy Hour I had to leave to go watch my Royals. This guy who's a Tigers fan got all sad and dejected when he was telling me he's a Tigers fan. I was just like; it's been a long time for us Royals fans and we deserve this. I was out last night for dinner and about to leave; the Orioles had bases loaded so stopped to watch, with a guy who told us he was an Orioles fan since he was a little kid and he was a bit older guy. Royals got 2 final outs of that inning while we watched. He walked away disappointed and sad. :overhead:

weather looks terrible tomorrow in KC. Wondering if we'll be playing games Tue-Thu in KC (or hopefully just tue & wed) rather than Mon-Wed. Burt, you got a forecast?

:nono: Royals' Dyson Provides Bulletin Board Material For O's

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A day after throwing some potential bulletin board material the Baltimore Orioles' way, Kansas City outfielder Jarrod Dyson said the Royals are close to taking the fight out of their American League Championship Series opponents.

After the Royals beat Baltimore 6-4 to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven ALCS, Dyson was asked by Kansas City Star writer Andy McCullough if he expects the series to return to Camden Yards for a sixth game. "No, sir, I don't," Dyson said, "and I don't think [the Orioles] think that, either."

Given an opportunity to elaborate on those comments after a team workout Sunday at Kauffman Stadium, Dyson took the concept of postseason candor to a higher level when speaking to a handful of reporters in the Kansas City clubhouse.

God damn the Royals are playing good baseball. This is fantastic for baseball. No Yankees, no Boston, only real big market team left is St. Louis. It's been a great post season.

These dudes are starting to become annoying, the Royals were a cool story and all but, act like you've been there.

The trash talk and stupid tshirts need to be shelved for a while. They haven't won the World Series yet.

They haven't been there. This is a bunch of kids having fun. It's what baseball should be. Get your panties out of a wad.

Acting like you've been there has nothing to do with actually ever being there.

Care nothing about MLB, but all in favor of any thread that isn't started and overrun by the a-holes on both sides that have ruined what was left of this place.

GO BASEBALL! :overhead:

There has to be some Faustian deal that went down around the 9th inning of the Wild Card game. Not because the Royals are 8-0 in the postseason and headed to the World Series, but because they are 8-0 in the postseason, heading to the World Series, and Ned Yost isn't single-handedly losing games.
