they absolutely have to suspend Brady. They really don't have an option. If Tom Brady plays in that Thursday night opener against Pittsburgh, and Bell can't play because he smoked a joint, but Brady can play after cheating and purposely deflating balls so that they fit in his little girly hands better, then goodell will get run out of the league.

this is one of those things that is going to be all over the media. And public outcry and sports analysts are going to be screaming for stiff penalties. The way brady and bellichick and kraft lied to everybody right afterwards just makes people hate that franchise even more. Goodell will have to penalize them harshly. He has no choice. Especially since everyone knows about him having dinner at Kraft's house the night before the game.

 

Edit: by the way, I'm not convinced Kraft actually lied. Probably just out of touch and a bit naive.

agree, and if the pats did tamper after the psi was tested I'm fine with Brady or whoever the guilty party is being suspended for the game.
