NewbieJr 541 Posted August 25, 2015 To be doubling down on stupid over and over...knock yourself out. I asked if I was wrong? I said they won one title in the last ten years. You said I sounded dumb. cbfalcon 825 Posted August 25, 2015 Seeing that I'm not a big Patriots fan, every time I see someone post "18-1" I think "Damn, that is a hell of a record. I'd probably favor that team over any other in history". Only then do I realize that the people posting it are making fun of them because of the one loss. Early on, The Pats were killing teams. Running up scores. Throwing the ball with a 40 point lead. Then they got busted for Spygate. As the season progressed, the were no longer killing teams. They were eeking out close games against poor teams. I remember them barely beating The Eagles late in the season, with their backup QB, AJ Feeley at QB. Then they get fortunate enough to play a wild card team in the Super Bowl. 19-0 was all I was hearing from the Patholes. Screw you, 72 Dolphins! It was a foregone conclusion. That loss in the Super Bowl to the Giants was basically a win for the fans of the other 31 teams. I doubt there was ever a louder country-wide collective cheer given than when that clock ran out and an astonished and dejected Brady and Belichick were walking off that field. A great, great day. Like you, the guy that would ask that is an idiot. I'm simply laughing at the dynasty part. And that the league, and all the fans, are out to get the Patriots because everyone is tired of their dominance. One title in ten years is far from dominance. Especially when you consider how it was given to them last year. And at the time they were caught cheating again, it was zero titles in the last nine years. Zero. So why the fock would anyone be out to get them? Because they're too consistent?

Djgb13 2,339 Posted August 25, 2015 It will never, ever get old. I love how it infuriates you and so does everyone else. Honestly the fact that the Giants beat the patriots doesn't upset me. Was I upset when it happened? Yea. But as a guy who loves the game I can say that it was a good game and I'd much rather watch that game over than watch one like the Broncos and Seahawks super bowl game. The only thing that gets annoying is when you constantly spout it off. It's like someone shouting YOLO. After a while of it constantly being uttered it gets old and aggravating

Is that why you didn't comment on the links I provided regarding your statement of only the Pats fans call it a dynasty. One title in ten years does not tell the whole story, and you know this. How about in the AFC Championship game 6 times in the last 10 years? How about the last 4 in a row? Given to them in your or anyone else's opinion does not matter at all. They are the defending Superbowl champions, because they won the game.

The fact is they were proven to have done it. So who's to say they weren't doing it all year? You've learned from your leader Goodell I see. You write that the Pats were killing teams, got caught cheating, then struggled to barely beat teams. This creates the image of a team that was beating teams badly BECAUSE of cheating, then struggled without said cheating. However, the facts are that Spygate happened in week 1, and NE destroyed teams for 8 weeks, then came down to earth before winning 3 of their last 4 regular season games by double digits, then 2 playoff games by double digits, before losing the Super Bowl. Hey, Brady had a better 2nd half (with inflated balls) in the AFC Cheatpionship game and dominated the Super Bowl. Who cares. CHEATER

I'm not upset at all over them. True I was heartbroken when it happened but the game itself was great. Much better than something like the Denver/Seattle game. Last super bowl was a great game too. And Kraft accepted them. Only thing that's left to be determined at this point is whether there was enough evidence to punish Brady as extensively as they did. As an Eagles fan, I hope it's reduced to two games. Would like to see him play against Dallas. Winning!

cbfalcon 825 Posted August 26, 2015 The league was wise to sue first in NY. The judge in Minnesota, while hearing arguments in the ADP case, said he doesn't think Goodell even understands there is a CBA, and went as far as to ask the players association if if wants jail time for Goodell. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2015/08/26/judge-doty-roger-goodell-adrian-peterson-deflategate/32402155/

The only thing that gets annoying is when you constantly spout it off. It's like someone shouting YOLO. After a while of it constantly being uttered it gets old and aggravating To be fair, the constant "anyone who thinks Brady is guilty is a jealous hater" is just as annoying as the "18-1" and "1 SB in 10 years" crap. And if we're going on about annoying things, lets include the "You're getting destroyed here" posts from both sides, the "I agree with my side so you're stupid" posts, the "You're such an idiot" posts, the "no, YOU'RE the whiner, not ME" posts. , this list could go on and on. Lots of people in this thread using bad arguments and insults to try to show why they're right. Both sides are completely ignoring FACTS from the other side (because of their own personal bias) and don't care that it makes them look foolish. Of course, I'm not one of those people, everything I've said is right and all you guys that disagree in any way are focking morons. PS - I'm still hurt about the Denver-Seattle SB, can we please not bring that up again? If you really need to bring up a bad SB, go far enough back to one that I've healed over like the Den-Wash 55-10 debacle.
