Big Guy

The NFC Least

Recommended Posts

It's puzzling since we've previously seen Dez put forth tremendous effort to make a catch.

In this case, he hung his hopes on getting a flag and didn't even make a play on the ball.

Too much of that sh!t going on in the NFL now. It's like watching Ginobli play WR sometimes.

Play it out, and let the flags fall as they may.

Honestly I feel that's a lot of teams plan. Losing big or need a TD? Throw a long pass to WR on the outside. 9/10 there will be a PI call on it

The Cowboys are a low class, no character organization from the owner on down through the fans.

Right now the Redskins look like the team to beat.

And man, if Romo can win out and the this division's current leaders blow it, it'll be one of the greatest seasons ever. :first:

Meh - just last week he was a hometown super hero for catching that lame duck Cassel threw into the end zone... Now he's all of the sudden a goat? By all accounts he's prolly not even supposed to be on the field yet - most humans would be gone for the year..... He's frustrated - so am I. I'm actually glad he seems to give a shiat - wish others did too.

I'm not a fan, he's a loud mouth trash talker that writes checks his a$$ can't cash.

The obvious difference is that Vick served his time and was contrite / apologetic about it. He was also a model teammate. Hardy got away with it, shows no remorse at all and continues to be a POS and locker room cancer.

Otherwise spot on.

Rationalize it however you want. Vick and Hardy were/are both of the highest order.

He led the league in TD catches last year - and in fact, has the most TD receptions of anyone since 2010... I'm not sure what checks he's not cashing - but he's pretty damn good when healthy... My only complaint is that he doesn't exactly have separation speed. But when you are as big and muscular as he is - that's part of it.

Every team looks like the team to beat after the New Orleans game.

Again, one guy did the time, cake back apologetic and was a model teammate. The other guy got off and shows no remorse at all and seems to enjoy reveling in the fact that he got away with it.

Trust me if Vick acted like that after the Eagles signed him I would be embarrassed but the Cowboys have no shame.

Hate to take up the Eagles cause here, but if Vick acted like Hardy did after they threw him a lifeline, I bet they would have got rid of him. If I recall, the Eagles told Vick if he screws up he was gone. I don't remember Vick causing any headaches. And the Eagles signed him to a deal that made him easy to get rid of.

The final month and a half may not be "good" football to watch - but the NFC East is going to have some fantastic drama as 3 of the 4 battle for the division.... Given their health and the fact Manning is playing - have to give the edge to the Giants... But Philly has 3 of their 4 Dec. games at home - huge advantage... Washington has a really tough finish - including finishing on the road at both Philly and Dallas.

I know, but he often blows it when he's needed most. If he'd just shut his mouth and showed some class, I'd like him. Give me another Cole Beasley his size instead.

Don't go believing twitter headlines... There are 31 teams who'd send a limo and private plane for Dez if they could have him for a Cole Beasley type player.

Not the NYG. We have a great WR already. We need a pass rusher. Do you have one with all his fingers and doesn't hit women and shows up to practice?

Again - any of those who still think either the Skins or Birds are going 9-7, you're an idiot... The odds just increased that 8-8 wins the division - 50% 7-9 takes it.

I would bet on the Giants winning 8-9. They're not really a good team but they are the one eyed man in the land of the blind this year.

I'll say the Eagles won't beat NE and the Cardinals . If they win the other games, they will play the Giants week 17 with a chance to go 8-8. If the Giants beat the Redskins next week , and win one other game, same thing, last game with Philly for 8-8. If the Cowboys win Thursday then I will include them in the scenario. Same for the Redskins

Schedule: NYG- @ Washington, NYJ, @ Miami, Carolina, @Minnesota, Philly

Phil- @Det, @ NE, Buffalo, Arizona, Washington, @NYG

NYG 5-5

Phil- 4-6.

Normally I would agree, but Coughlin has clearly lost his head in few games and will continue to do so. Wide open.

Weird as it is to say, Dalllas may be the favorites to win this horrible division.

They should have the winner of the AFC South and the NFC East face off at the end of the season. They can call it the Cripple Bowl and broadcast it on ESPN 8.

Skins have Carolina, but every other game is winnable.

Eagles have NE and Ariz but every other game is winnable.

Giants have Carolina but every other game is winnable.

9-7 will take the division.

You were rather adamant that 9-7 would win the division, I told you unless the Giants did it, wasn't happening..... But now you question their chances..... Still sticking to 9-7 now after the beat downs Philly and Wash took?

2 of Dallas' next 3 games are against the Panthers and Packers. If they lose both they can go 7-9 at best. Maybe they split but then you're assuming the sweep the Skins and beat the Jets? I just think they're in too deep a hole to dog themselves out. I also have no faith in the Skins so to me it's the Giants division to lose.
