It's not just that Trump said 1000's Muslims in Jersey were celebrating. He said he saw footage of it. There are no media outlets that have any record of ever broadcasting this. So, a couple of people from Jersey saying they saw Muslims celebrating doesn't vindicate Trump.

You should have seen Jake Tapper go at it with Trumps advisor yesterday. OMFG. One of his responses was that the media wasn't as sophisticated as it is now. WTF?
