So i saw this on thurs at the first showing. It wasnt terrible but it just wasnt great. They did too much, shoehorned in like 3 too many plots and just didnt make the whole thing come together like it should. Affleck was great as Batman, hes probably the high point of the movie. All the characters were good pretty much even if Luthor isnt your cuppa tea. 1 too many dream/vision sequences, unnecessary ending, tplot holes, conveniences, just overall a bit of a mess. Someone on reddit said it best, its like if you played 3 great songs at the same time.

Here's hoping this is the ed of the stupid idea that comic book movies are supposed to be grim, joyless and for adults. I thought the Dark Knight trilogy was pretty bad and MoS was even worse. Nolan and Snyder are both awful storytellers. I'm really enjoying watching the film get slagged.

Going to see it tonight. First thoughts are why can't DC seem to make a quality movie like Marvel has? They've got the content and tons of it. Hell I wouldn't mind if they made this a triology but do something to even make it a legit competition between marvel and DC

Saw it last night. Wasn't a bad movie. What was pissing me off is the fact that they want to change all the other super hero's race. Aquaman is no longer a blonde haired guy but some dark haired, Hawaiian guy with tattoos. The flash looks Asian. Wonder Woman doesn't have black hair and blue eyes but is Israeli. Changing race for the sake of "diversity" just pisses me off. What's next? The Green Lantern is going to be from India and is a girl? Her name is Haley but they call her Hal to shorten it?

I'm gonna say that's the only time Iv even heard this gripe about aquaman and Wonder Woman who fans universally love the casting choice. Seriously who whines about a Hawaiian and an Israeli? Gal Gadot is almost a perfect fit for the role and was one of the best parts of the movie. Israeli?! Momoa as aquaman is way more bad azz than some phaggy blonde dbag. I just hate how people get pissed because there's white cast members in Gods of Egypt yet no one bats an eye when someone who's white is changed to a different race. You don't see Marvel making Deadpool black, Black Widow Israeli, the Hulk Asian, etc.

Sure I have complaints. Doesn't mean I'm not gonna watch it. I'm just pissed they all of a sudden want to change iconic characters to something completely different. Do you have complaints about a white guy playing Michael Jackson in his later years when his color was white? What about white guys playing in Gods of Egypt? It's a double standard.
