Planned parenthood is a scam. It's so evident. They play a little game and say only part of the space is used for abortion, so they can get federal funding. But eveyone knows that it's an abortion clinic, that's the crux of their existence.

How's that mandate working out? Say with poor, inner-city people who are likely to visit places like PP, and whose unwanted children are likely to become a burden on the system? I guess they all have insurance now?

 

I don't know. Nor do I care. What I know is, based upon Obamacare, there is no reason for my tax dollars to fund PP giving out birth control pills. Everyone should have health insurance, and the birth control is included in that. If that's not happening maybe Obama should start handing the sh*t out. It's his crappy law.

I tend to agree with a lot of this, but I'm also a believer in the "a stitch in time saves nine" theory. A few bucks for birth control seems like money well-spent compared to having another child on the rolls for God knows how long. I don't really care about the specific avenue, but I think it's in our best interests to ensure that contraception is cheap and relatively readily available. A lot of girls aren't going to want to run through their parents insurance to get birth control, whether it be Obamacare, or Medicaid, or whatever.

Look wiff it's not 3%. And it's not 97% either but it's probably 20-40% if you actually look into it. They count giving out conforms as an interaction they do 400k abortions a year and provide 11mil services. But when you get to actual medical procedures the numbers are much higher.

 

And while they say they don't use funding for the actual abortion that may be tru. But they do use funding to by supplies pay nurses and doctors pay rental fees and charge the state for each time the girl comes in during the procedure for a visit
