cyclone24 1,912 Posted May 31, 2017 If Trump's team promised to ease sanctions on Russia in exchange for the election assist, will that meet your threshold for impeachment and/or treason? Sure. But again....would be interesting if you held your folks to these standards.
cyclone24 1,912 Posted May 31, 2017 He may not have had an active roll...other than using Russian propaganda in some of his speeches (that may have been due to him just being dumb). But he would have people to do that. If he even ok'd such a thing he would be complicit. In addition, this investigation likely goes beyond just the DNC hack...there is going to be a big part with financial ties of people to some bad hombresin Russia. I think there is a possibility that some around him leaked things. He isn't the most likable guy out there you know. You realIze one of the reasons nobody takes you seriously is posts like this. You're not going to melt saying obama leftovers are leaking, or that YOU in fact need some concrete evidence.

You're not going to melt saying obama leftovers are leaking, or that YOU in fact need some concrete evidence. They could be the ones leaking...but that's been a weak red herring since the beginning. Bannon vs Kushner in a power play has just as much of a likelihood to be leaking some things. As do others that have zero to do with Obama. Just proclaiming it to be Obama leftovers is simple minded crap.
drobeski 3,061 Posted May 31, 2017 If all investigations show he and his people did nothing...move in to defeating the GOP in the midterms. The amount that has already come out and who is involved in the investigations...I don't think that absolutely nothing will come of this. Ive said it often...I'm not sure it reached all the way to Trump...but some very close to him will go down. And in nearly any other admin with any other congress there would be Impeachment proceedings. why do you want to defeat the gop? I thought you were down the middle. cbfalcon 825 Posted June 1, 2017 Via Washington Post.. The Trump administration is moving toward handing back to Russia two diplomatic compounds, near New York City and on Marylands Eastern Shore, from which its officials were ejected in late December as punishment for Moscows interference in the 2016 presidential election. Then-President Barack Obama said Dec. 29 that the compounds were being used by Russian personnel for intelligence-related purposes, and gave Russia 24 hours to vacate them. Separately, Obama expelled from the United States what he said were 35 Russian intelligence operatives. Well of course Trump wants his spy team back in place so they can help him fight the current fake news. Duh.

And the right is whining about leakers while ignoring what has been happening. I'm talking about how it first affects midterms. You sir...have got to be the absolute dumbest person on this board. I would make the exact same argument for anyone supporting Donald Trump. They base right and wrong on what feels good to them (often what feels good is just going against the other side)...and they have zero foresight and are totally unable to see a bigger picture in regards to the world or time. Baker Boy 1,691 Posted June 1, 2017 The Department of Justice blasted a report alleging the possibility of an undisclosed, private meeting between a Russian official and then-Sen. Jeff Sessions, with the DOJ outright denying on Wednesday night any secretive “or side conversations” occurred. The pushback followed a CNN story claiming Sessions, now the attorney general, met with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak at a Trump campaign event at the Mayflower Hotel on April 27, 2016. The report, building on the storyline of possible Trump team collusion with Russia to influence the 2016 presidential election, is based on “a source with knowledge.” A meeting the same day between Sessions and Kislyak – and also featuring VIP organizers and other diplomats – was already known to have happened at the hotel, the site of a Trump foreign policy address. But the CNN report alleges investigators are trying to determine if a second, private meeting occurred between the two. “It is unfortunate that anonymous sources whose credibility will never face public scrutiny are continuously trying to hinder that process by peddling false stories to the mainstream media,” a statement from DOJ spokesperson Sarah Isgur Flores said. “The facts haven't changed; the then-Senator did not have any private or side conversations with any Russian officials at the Mayflower Hotel.” http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/06/01/doj-blasts-report-sessions-may-have-met-privately-with-russian-official.html

Funny...they went with one anonymous source to claim that Kushner didn't ask for a back channel. The stuff on this meeting has gone back for a while and I believe it was this meeting that coincided with Trump pushing the RNC to change the policy on Ukraine (though, that could have come from a different meeting...would have to check back). Pretty weak denial again...and Devin Nunes was also there. Going to be funny watching some of these guys go down.

Keep up the fight Comrade! Please tell me what she said that I should listen to. It was a whole lot of deflection. Last I checked...Podesta wasn't being investigated by both parts of congress, the FBI and a special counsel. Nor is what he has done relevant or a defense for Trump. Nor doesn't he have any power. giraldi02 474 Posted June 6, 2017 Any hookers involved? Just your run of the mill highly classified NSA document providing evidence of Russia's government interfering with our election. This has nothing to do with Trump. This has to do with Russia. This information is now public. If Trump wants credibility, punish Russia either diplomatically or through similar cyber warfare. Set them on their asses for the next week with no internet or satellites. Now it's a foregone conclusion that yet another intelligence agency in this country came to the agreement that Russia meddled. Again, nothing to do with Trump. The election tallies don't have to be the only target in order to greatly affect the election results. There are people in this country that continue to fall prey to scams. On a daily basis. Nigerian Prince. Fake IRS agent calling on the phone. People buy it hook, line and sinker. Now imagine people targeting those same folk with a misinformation tidal wave about the election. Or a candidate. Or a word (let's choose a random one like "socialism"). HTH

But I have to assume that at some point during the process the votes do get into a computer and uploaded on to the Internet. If that were to be messed with then yeah, we might have to have a cyber war. But propaganda? Not much we can do there outside of sanctions.
