MTSkiBum 1,605 Posted April 10, 2017 By nature, my reaction is to want to launch a thousand missiles at North Korea and wipe their entire country off the map. They are basically the world's internet troll. And their harmless trolling is now advancing to a point where they are getting close to having weapons and transport systems capable of doing damage to the U.S. The fact that they're not there yet gives us a little extra cockiness when dealing with them. The problem, obviously, is that they are very capable of doing damage to South Korea, China, Japan, etc. Anything we do to slap that little fat mongoloid on the nose, puts millions in immediate danger. Millions of citizens from ally countries. It is a super delicate situation. And to add to that, their leader is not a logical man. He doesn't think like most people. Hard telling what that lunatic is willing to risk. It's fun arguing this stuff on message boards. But the reality of it is, none of us have any clue what the best approach is. This is where we sit back and trust that our generals and military officials understand the ramifications of being aggressive with them. One reassuring thing is that John McCain said that this current military defense/security team is as fine as any he's ever seen. And that means something coming from McCain. He can't stand Trump and thinks he's as big of a buffoon as I do. So he wouldn't just make that statement to pat the administration on the back. Great post. Hardcore troubadour 12,988 Posted April 10, 2017 Do you think China will intervene, either then, or even later? Maybe. But keep in mind, we are China's best customer. It's in their best interests to get N Korea in line, which should be the goal with this action.

Yea - that's kind of what I was thinking.. Commerce has a way of swaying allegiances - I hope it's a big enough chip to play.

Hardcore troubadour 12,988 Posted April 10, 2017 Why does China give a rat's ass about NK? SK makes a lot of stuff that China makes. Japan too. NK keeps those two on edge.
Sho Nuff 720 Posted April 10, 2017 We need to nip this entire NK having nukes thing in the but before it actually becomes a problem. What do you advocate? (You ran away from this same question on Syria) They already have them.

Sho Nuff 720 Posted April 10, 2017 Some of you act like just getting rid of him is easy. How many troops do we have in SK right now? You know if he wanted to do something...those men and women would be bombed first. Damn right you work to do this diplomatically. The way 3 former presidents have done. And you work with China to put even more economic pressure on them. And you damn well sure let him know (and he already does) that there is no end game of attacking us or our interests where he doesn't end up dead and much of his country reduced to rubble. But to claim its just so simple as some of you act...just focking stop.
Sho Nuff 720 Posted April 10, 2017 Send in the boys and clean house, this is exactly what we have them for. First sign of advancement it launches missles into our boys in SK. Now what? Send in our boys...as I said...a simplistic answer that shows so much ignorance.
iam90sbaby 2,157 Posted April 10, 2017 First sign of advancement it launches missles into our boys in SK. Now what? Send in our boys...as I said...a simplistic answer that shows so much ignorance. That is why we moved the anti-missile system to the SK border, hopefully it works, that is what it is there for. Send in the boys, clean house, lets get it done. Times like these are when you can tell he's in his twenties. He can't think in nuances. If North Korea was an island in the middle of nowhere, his solution would be awesome. But he can't think beyond that.

iam90sbaby 2,157 Posted April 10, 2017 Hopefully...again.. an ignorant simplistic approach It is better than standing on the sidelines and letting them keep testing and improving their systems, that is the last thing we need right now. NewbieJr 541 Posted April 10, 2017 They won't ever accept it or anything negative about Trump. LOL. It's hysterical. Even if they end up concluding that Trump did not have anything to do with it, they will never admit that Russia tampered with our election because then they would have to be faced with answering the question of why do you think they wanted Trump to win so badly. Because Trump is better for our enemies than Hillary would have been. Very easy one to answer. Putin knows that Trump is a bumbling idiot. He knew that the US would no longer be any competition. So these website Warriors think they know more than the entire FBI. As they sit home picking their noses and eating a Klondike Bar.
