Djgb13 2,339 Posted July 1, 2017 That's got more to do with the system and team built around him than his age imo. If you take him you prolly should cuff him w garps but its hard to deny that weekly payday potential. I dunno. You still need to be able to make the decisions on the field and drop the ball on a dime. That second half of the super bowl he was just dropping the ball perfectly for his receivers and fitting them in the perfect spot where the defender couldn't get it but his receiver could. If he keeps playing like that then I see him playing for another 5 years. He will end up with a majority of the QB records by the end of his career
IMMensaMind 462 Posted July 2, 2017 I think it's possible that Matt Stafford gets there this year.
weepaws 3,191 Posted July 2, 2017 He's only been a top five QB once in the last five seasons. I don't think Stafford has the personal to be a top five QB.
jdon 28 Posted July 2, 2017 IT will not be Stafford. Let me pitch you guys on Went: 1.) just picked up a stud in Jefferies. 2.) has talent top to bottom. 3.) plays in an NFC east that should score a lot of points. 4.) dude can throw. 5.) The most underrated fantasy move this year has been Torrey Smith to Philly. I expect 800 and 5, with all 5 coming over 40 yards. Then you add jeffery to matthews and agulars bum ass.... I like what they have going for them.
weepaws 3,191 Posted July 2, 2017 What are you predicting for C Wentz ? Top five or a top ten?
ROCKFORD 134 Posted July 6, 2017 top 10, give him one more year ...
TBayXXXVII 2,545 Posted July 6, 2017 top 10, give him one more year ... I don't see top 10 for Wentz either. I mean, if he throws for 4200 yards (a 400 yard increase), 24 TD's (an 8 TD increase), and 10 Int's (a 4 Int decrease), that'll roughly put him in a group of Dalton, Winston, and Eli and none of them finished in the top 10 last year. With the receivers he has, I don't think that level of improvement is possible. I'll be impressed if he's top 15.
Hawkeye21 2,399 Posted July 6, 2017 What are you predicting for C Wentz ? Top five or a top ten? Wentz is barely top 15. I'm going to have to see a drastic improvement this year to think he can be a QB1. If he gets better and the team around him keeps getting better then he'll creep into the top 10 but I don't see that happening for a couple years.
weepaws 3,191 Posted July 7, 2017 Yeah right now I'm on board. Will kind of, I don't have him in my top 15 at this time.
Hype_Train252 4 Posted July 9, 2017 I think Tyrod Taylor should push top 10. 270+ fantasy points the past two years. Good for 9th best FF QB in 2015 (in 14 games) and 16th in 2016. Rushing ability gives safe week to week floor maybe not that exciting a ceiling but I'd value consistency over guys like Big Ben with huge home/road splits. Last year was 16th with no receiving core whatsoever. They were literally picking up WRs off the street. If Watkins can stay healthy (contract year) and the addition of Zay Jones, then Tyrod would be a great late round bargain. I also like Matt Stafford. Upgraded O-line. 3rd year with Jim Bob Cooter. Offense hit bit of a funk towards the end of the season. Ameer Abdullah should help the offense be more balanced.
Matt Mueller 146 Posted July 11, 2017 I'm sure Winston has been preached already. He lead the league in passing yards attempted last season. They added Djax, Howard and Godwin.

Kent 228 Posted July 13, 2017 Wasn't Wentz not very good after the first few games? After thy lost their best oline man he sucked. They need to keep the whole line healthy and he could really be good.
giraldi02 474 Posted July 13, 2017 After thy lost their best oline man he sucked. They need to keep the whole line healthy and he could really be good. The worst part of losing Lane Johnson was that the fifth game for the Eagles was against the Redskins. Halapoulivaati Vataii made his first start at right tackle and Ryan Kerrigan absolutely demolished him. I think that game set a bad snowball effect on Wentz until the O-line gelled a little bit and he started looking a little better. But that Skins game was a joke for Vataii. seafoam1 3,017 Posted July 13, 2017 as much as i hate the giants and manning. im getting him cheap in my draft for sure...
Hawkeye21 2,399 Posted July 13, 2017 as much as i hate the giants and manning. im getting him cheap in my draft for sure... I see no reason for him to even be drafted unless a lot of people are drafting two QBs. I think he's been going as the 16th QB. I like him as a waiver wire pick up if needed. weepaws 3,191 Posted July 13, 2017 The Giants front office aren't even sure if he's worthy of a ff draft pick. One day they need to find his replacement, the next he's are QB going forward. I would agree he's worthy of a Qb2. It's a tough one because he has some really good WRs.

weepaws 3,191 Posted July 16, 2017 Now he was a middle QB2 last season based on ff points. Do you like him as a low qb1 this season with the addiction of B Marshall? He's a tough one for me to rank. Because of the talent he has to throw the ball too he should be ranked higher then I have him currently. But based on his numbers it's hard to do so, and that's why I'm wondering how you feel about him going into the season.
Ray_T 753 Posted July 17, 2017 top 10, give him one more year ... I gotta agree. Wentz wont be top 5 this year. he still has some growing to do as a QB. The good news is that he has the WR's he needs. The bad news is I dont fully know if Blount and Smallwood will get the job done on the ground. It's a question mark for me. I think top 10 is a fair assessment. And if the kid cant be top 15 with this personell I will start to have concerns about his future.
