Dodgers no hitter through 8.

And there it is.

Only the 12th time in history a team has thrown a combined no hitter.

I don't know why Harvey didn't accept trip to minors. He'd move to Vegas and work every 5th day and party all he wants.

:dunno:

Was Molina wearing a cup?

It didnt look like it.

I was wondering the same. From the Slo-mo it looks like a jiggle consistent with no cup. A pro catcher wearing no cup is crazy!!

But I guess 102 could break a cup.

I was catching in HS and I had a foul tip hit my cup and break it. I didn't need surgery. It did not cause that kind of damage. I think he was not wearing a cup

No idea if he had a cup on, but that would have been beyond crazy. Hicks throws 102+ with serious movement...whoever catches him is going to take a shot or two.

Scherzer strikes out 15 of 19 outs. 13.94k per 9. Guy is on a different plane.

Hopefully it's private, he deserves that at least.

Had a kid last week catching and he was trying to scoop everything in the dirt instead of blocking it. He tells me he doesn't want to get hit in the nuts. I tell him he should be fine because he has a cup. He tells me he is not wearing one. After I call him a knucklehead, I tell him to hop in the bag and grab the extra one because we know some kids are stupid.

Did you sniff it for him before he put it on?

It was one of my old ones, so I didn't have to. I could just had him ask you.

MLB drops the ball for the 2nd time this year and schedules the Sox/Yanks series during the start of a week.

That being said.,

YOOGE series Tue/Wed/Fri

Red Sox are not near as good as their record.

Could be looking at a sweep.

Drew Pomeranz
vs
Luis Severino
David Price
vs
Masahiro Tanaka
Rick Porcello
vs
Fatassia

Paxton with a no-no into the ninth...

This is sure happening a lot this year with pitches going past six innings with no hits...
