Win or go home tonight. Cubs host the Rockies.

Hard to believe the Cubs have to play another game without a day off.

I was more concerned with playing the back to back games, over getting home field throughout the playoffs. 1 game sample sizes are such a crap shoot in baseball. Least you are hosting it and the Rockies are traveling cross-country. Maybe we can do it all again Thursday. :shocking:

Maddon taking Lester out after six. He's asking for it.

Yep. I dont like it. Well see what happens, but this bullpen is beyond shaky.

eta: The Cubs would probably be ok without Lester going the distance if they could get a focking run or two.

Wow! Ottavino. That was a great 1/2 inning. Hit. Walk catcher interference. Nothing.

Cmon Cubs. I need sleep.

First playoff game I ever went to was a mariners/Yanks game that went 15 innings in 1995. Leyritz with a walk off.

It was a good season for the Cubs, though i'm sure they feel like they left some on the table-injuries really came into play late though.

Honestly, I'm relieved the Crew don't have to face that rotation anymore. Feel free to jump on the Central Division winner bandwagon.

Lots of disappointment around here today. Good luck to the Brewers, but I can't jump on that bandwagon.

I was a Yankees fan for many years, so I'm pulling for them now.

I'm an Indians fan, so obviously pulling for them. Other teams I want to win if not the Indians. No particular order.

Brewers

Oakland

Rockies

Basically any team not in a major market or spending above the :coughcough: cap.

Braves first...

If they can't win, anybody but the Yankees, Red Sox, Dodgers and Astros (since they won it last year)... The Cubs would have been there as well, but that is over...

Not sure how I forgot the Braves, but I'd put them on the list for sure.

My order.

Indians

Oakland

Brewers

Braves

Rockies

Astros

Red Sox

Dodgers

Yankees.

Always liked Buck. He got the Yankees back on track in the 90's. I don't think the dynasty happens without him and Gene Michael. They went from a complete talentless mess to an efficient winning machine in short order.

Joe Torre got the credit but 96 was Buck's team.

Lots of turn over on the 96 team. Jeter, Tino, Raines, Girardi, K Rogers, Fielder, Duncan. But most important they got Jimmy Key back and Mariano emerged. Torre deserves credit.
