Patriotsfatboy1 1,432 Posted October 4, 2018 We're on to Boston! See you Friday faggots. You know you don't want this. First playoff series with the Yankees since 2004? Let's hope the games are closer than they have been in the regular season since so many of them were blowouts.

Let's hope the games are closer than they have been in the regular season since so many of them were blowouts. 1978 one game playoff, 1999 ALCS, 2003 ALCS, 2004 ALCS. All great except 99. Yanks underdogs this time, will have to beat Sale at least once. Tough road, SOX are good top to bottom. Kimbrell locks down the 9th. Should go at least 4. Good luck. shotsup 832 Posted October 5, 2018 I know it's true but can't believe last Yanks/RSox playoff series was when the "idiots" came back from down 3-0 to beat the "Spankees" Damn

Really? I rooted for the Mets 32 years ago. You know, that time they won a World Series.

I rooted for and bet all my friends on the Sox in 86. Most were throwing me money in game 6. I had to return and pay up couple days later. Closet Red Sox fan here. (Never hid this fact. posty 2,613 Posted October 5, 2018 Well that wasn't a good start... Dave Roberts must knew what he is doing starting Ryu game one and then bringing Kershaw in game two... Going to be a quick series if they can't pull one tonight...

Hardcore troubadour 14,971 Posted October 6, 2018 Won't say it's do or die for the Yanks tonight, but it's close. You can't expect to beat Sale after what he was dealing last night. Very impressive for a guy who hasn't pitched much going into the series. No Hicks hurts, Gardner has had a poor year.
