Do people still watch baseball regularly? I know the playoffs and world series is good tv, but do people tune in during the season anymore? How about the stat geeks?

I mean 160 focking games who really cares until October lol.

I do. I watch a game or partial game almost daily. I have the baseball ticket on Dish Network. Baseball is a great game.

I know the cubs have played 35 games in 36 days, they just look tired.

 Plus they still have to play tomorrow while the Brewers are off.

A must win game tonight for the Cubs tonight.

Theyve looked pretty bad recently. I really doubt they can hold on to the division.

Cubs are in trouble. They look gassed. Their schedule this last month has been brutal.

Would not doubt that at all. Going into the All-Star break, IRC the Crew played 18 games in 17 days, and the last week and a half was a sh!t-show. Errors galore, relievers who were gassed walking to the mound...that many games in row takes a toll. And I hope the Crew can take advantage of that. :bandana:

Not everyday, but I probably watch parts of 120+ Crew games this year. Got the MLB package...99 bucks to watch one team out of market...so like 80 cents a game, love it. I'll be watching TV, but have the game going on my laptop.

Really wish the NFL network would do that...350 bucks a year for all the games. WTF, all the games are on at the same time, I can only watch one at a time. I didn't even bother with my usual I'll walk if you don't give me a discount thing this year, just said no, I can get a steam of any game anyway.

Brewers close against the Tigers(really schedule makers) while the Cubs are going against Cards fighting to hold on to last WC spot. This is going down to the wire.

I believe so.

The only run the Cubs have scored in the last 2 games came off a homer from Cole Hamels.

Meanwhile, Yelich and the Brewers are lighting it up.

Cubs and Brewers both clinched. Cubs still hold a half game lead.

Another tough game on the Cubs though. Extra innings, and the bullpen blew a 4 run lead late.

Dodgers also scrambling now. If they lose tonight, Rockies move into 2st and the Dodgers have to close out their season in SF.

SF would love to spoil the Dodgers post season chances.

SF pushed Mad Bums final start of the year back a game. He was supposed to pitch tonight, but wanted him against LA

Colorado's German Marquez struck out the first eight Phillies last night tying a modern day MLB record for most strikeouts to start a game...

The opposing pitcher broke it up...

Jim Deshaies, who is one of the Cubs TV broadcaster, is one of the record holders .

Cubs bullpen appears gassed. Losing Strop on top of Morrow was just too much. Cubs are too talented to fall apart, but I think the Brewers can lose one less then the Cubs and this ends up in a tie and we get a one game playoff for the division. And the worse of it....I now have to root for the Cardinals ---- :wall:

Good luck.

The bullpens of these two teams are polar opposites. But the one thing they have in common is their ability to scare the crap outta Cubs fans.

Of course I dont wanna see the Brewers overtake or tie the Cubs. But I have to admit, this race is good for baseball.

Have fun!

Looks like Yanks are going to go with Severino on Wednesday. Should be a good game. Fetters has a few of the Yankees number. If that's who they go with.

161 games down and nothing is settled in the Central & West. Whatever happens today, I hope one of the Brewers/Cubs win the division outright. Having to play a division tie-breaker on Monday, then the wild card game on Tuesday, no thanks.

Packers at 1, Brewers at 3 and the Roval today!

Said it before,as a Royals fan first,Cubs fan 2nd I'm fine with the Brewers winning the division.Watching Moose,Cain and Soria in the postseason will be great. As long as the Cardinals are watching from their couches all is good.

Cubs and Brewers start another 3 game set on Monday. Cubs 1 game back.

It's June 7. Meh

Tell that to the 20+ teams whove been forced into a one game playoff to decide their post season fates.

A good game is good no matter when it happens.

That edjr guy sure knows a lot about baseball.

Two tie-breakers. Khris Davis .247 for the fourth year in a row. A cycle from Blackmon. Christian Yelich needing one home run more than Arenado tomorrow and two RBI more than Baez for an under the radar Triple Crown.

Maddon would be crazy to pitch to Yelich tomorrow. I cant see the Cubs pitchers giving him much to hit.

Davis is amazingly consistent. Surprised that no one wanted him last year. The Ks are bad, but he puts up power numbers.

I hope the Athletics kicks the Yankees ass on Wednesday... Don't need to have every Yankees-Red Sox game in prime time...

Tell me about it. I would love some 4 o'clock starts. They're in the playoffs so much though, MLB tries to milk them. Pays the bills for the rest of baseball.

Win or go home tonight. Cubs host the Rockies.

Hard to believe the Cubs have to play another game without a day off.

The Cubs had Sept 20 off and have been in Chicago ever since. Advantage Cubs
