Brady/Belichick Feud?

Recommended Posts

I like the part where Brady is a ###### to his backups, but when Hoyer comes in he is described as a "longtime friend". Yeah a "longtime friend" who used to be his backup.

Name one QB (or any player) in the history of history who has been overly friendly with the guy trying to take his job

That was the big rub on Harrison, he wasn't nice to the young guys trying to take his job

Yea, fock the backup, it's not Brady's (or any QB) job to mentor the guy who is looking to take his job. I laughed when it was Montana, Favre, etc.

It looks like Brady took it to the next level with demanding the guy be traded though, allegedly of course, that's next level stuff.

Could Kraft be any luckier?

Rich as fock, old hag wife dies. gets to get rid of her while keeping entire fortune.

still young enough to bang out some super models.

what a focking life

If I didn't know any better I'd say to double check the toxicology report

Not gonna lie, that is about as good as it gets.

Belchick, "we've had the best QB situation in the league for 2.5 years... it's just not sustainable, given the way that things are set up... not something we wanted to walk away from... we rode it out as long as we could and explored every option to try to sustain it... at this point, we had to make a decision"

What's so hard to understand about this? What does unsustainable mean?

- salary cap, unsustainable

- JG's career needed to move forward

- TB is still playing at elite levels

something had to give... and in the end, the Patriots did what was best for the PEOPLE involved - they made Brady Happy, they made Jimmy happy, they made Kraft's Accountant happy... "who" took a hit a bit was the NE organization as a whole, not a person individually.

Could NE have gotten more? Sure, but they'd have focked JG, Brady, and maybe Kraft's accountant.

Who say Bill doesn't have a heart?

Well the interesting part of the story was that Jimmy G couldn't get into the TB12 area for therapy after he hurt his shoulder last year. That would be pretty cold, if true.

I don't know about "overly friendy" since the claim was "famously unhelpful". If it's so common why would someone describe Brady as "famous" for it? Unless maybe the article was just a focking hatchet job. And if he's so "famously unhelpful", why are him and Hoyer buds? Hoyer must be a focking idiot.

Also, you're listening to butt-hurt Steelers fans now?

That was never a "rub" on Harrison until he became a Pat and they had to find some semi-valid reason to hate him.

Here's James Harrison not helping TJ Watt take his job; feel free to read the adoring comments from Steeler fans.

so he's helping for the camera

if only the camera was on him 100% of the time

exactly.

what next? he got locked out of his house... so obviously, his girlfriend was p!ssed at him and threatening to leave him if he didn't get a starting QB job soon.

it's the journalistic equivalent of showing Survivor and then showing a clip of a shark nowhere near them... and then edjr's terrified that Boston Rob is gonna' get eaten by a shark.

You're using hyperbole in the opposite direction.

I don't disagree at all that it's been a difficult and complicated situation for everyone involved.

I do disagree that it means everyone in NE is fighting, Bill's going to NY, and Brady is L. Ron Hubbard.

There probably was a meeting between Kraft and Belichick where the QB position was discussed and they both realized there was NO FOCKING WAY they were keeping both TB and JG past the end of the season. Brady is still looking good, and is a fan icon, so Jimmy needs to go now if they are going to get anything for him. That's all that had to happen for events to unfold like they have. No demands from Brady or mandates from Kraft, or hurt feelings from Bill.

I'm sure Brady is upset over not being Patriot of the Week though.

The first week of the playoffs is over and this is what people choose to talk about. It shows just how crappy the game of football really is and why viewership is down.

what does that have to do with the price of handjobs in Bangkok?

has Brady looked 'good' as you say the last 5 weeks? yes or no?

Maybe the fact that you took one chunk of a single sentence;

"Brady is still looking good, and is a fan icon, so Jimmy needs to go now if they are going to get anything for him. "

It's pretty clear I made that statement in the context of a hypothetical Kraft/Belichick exchange prior to the JG trade if you're not being intentionally obtuse. Brady is still the favorite for MVP even though he kind of sh!t the bed down the stretch, which means he was playing REALLY well prior to the trade. HTH.

That doesn't worry you in the slightest?

Maybe you hadn't heard. He's 40 1/2

It worries me some, but it has nothing to do with the point I was making. He was playing great when the decision to trade Garoppolo was made. In the five games prior to your five he had 13 TDs and one interception.

Against who? The annual cake walk schedule is nothing to get excited about. He was dogshit against the Steelers until Gronk took over. Cooks is a total bust because Tom can't hit a deep one anymore. . Do you watch the games at all?

You think JG being traded is why he started playing poorly?

He has to start coming back to down to earth at some point, doesn't he? Maybe it has begun?

I mean, Kraft thinks not, but what's he know about football?

Lol. Pretty weak talking out your ass even for you. Cooks and Gronk were both 1000 yard receivers and averaged over 15.5 yards a catch. The only team with 2 guys to do that. If you're going to talk so much about the Pats you should take your own advice and watch them play occasionally.

I don't even know what you're talking about. This isn't that hard; I think Brady playing so well was part of the reason Jimmy was traded. Anything that has happened since has no bearing on the initial decision except to Monday morning GMs.

Cooks is a bust. 1000 yards? BFD. Went over 100 yards twice. Disappeared in 4-5 games. Are you a Digby Alias?

First year in the system; one of 15 1000 yard receivers, second leading yards per catch among 1000 yard receivers, 7 TDs, yeah total "bust". Please stop pretending you know anything about football.

Ok. He lit it up. You got me. I must have missed those 5 games he did nothing. First year? How did Moss do in his first year with the Pats? Half of that would have been outstanding. Bandwagon is full chump. There's room on the Eagles one. But hurry up.

He didn't light it up, but he certainly wasn't a bust. It's funny he was considered a deep ball specialist with the Saints but averaged a full yard and a half more per catch with Brady who can't throw a deep ball. Sorry you look dumb here. :dunno:
