(OFFICIAL) *****70's Music Draft***** LOD UP

Like I told TBBOM, you can leave them with me..... The chances we have anything the same are very, very, very small. :D

I was going to offer as he picks twice before I come up again but you would work the same, and as you pointed out your musical preferences are... different. :D

Its just a well composed song from top to bottom. How do you open a song with those stream of consciousness type lyrics, then flow seamlessly into a jazzy, big band style easy listening vibe? Its brilliant.

That one was at Royals Stadium in KC 1977,hopefully I can fill in the other bands if they get picked.

Shame that Whipping Post is technically ineligible (studio version released in Nov '69) when the version anyone cares about was from' 71.

I... don't think that is the rule. Release date of version you pick, not original release date. Amiright?

Leads to a lot of ambiguity though... You could just go fishing for live albums with versions of songs from the middle of the 60s or earlier that way. If it's a different band or something that makes sense, otherwise you are really just dodging the subject of this draft itself (70s songs).
