I remember when it first started getting radio play in NY. I had never heard anything like it. And my Dad watched Hee-Haw on the reg. It was something else at that time. I have some country lined up as well.

Passing on a song i feel I must have, hoping it will get back to me so that I can take this one.

From one of the greatest live albums of all time, 14 minutes and 15 seconds of pure awesomeness.

5.03. Do You Feel Like We Do - Peter Frampton.

Focker...That was obne of my next 2. Do You Feel Like We Do live is quintessential 70s rock

He made his guitar focking talk! For the time it was like what Hendrix did with feedback. Something no one had done before.

Yes. The talk box was a cool effect. Joe Walsh also used it well.

But the talk box part of this song is actually not my favorite guitar part.

I actually prefer the solo breaks immediately prior to and after the talk box. He really focking wails there, and its all live so there were no retakes or over dubs.

Pretty amazing really.

This thread reminds of a party I went to over the holidays last month.

I hung with a couple of guys that were acquaintances but not exactly friends

They were really into music so we talked music and played different songs for each other for about 4 hours while our wives got wasted on margaritas in the other room.

Best time Ive had in awhile.

Rock on geeks.

That whole little circle of california musicians were buddies. Browne, the Eagles guys, Joni, the CSNY guys... must have been amazing parties and conversations in Laurel Canyon back then.

Netflix had a phenomenal 3 1/2 hour documentary on The Eagles

Am I up? :dunno:

I don't see a Big Guy BOLD COLORFUL Pick so no.

I am getting pretty drunk by now and have to give a deposition at 8AM and it's nearing 11PM. This is fun but I may need to bounce if he doesn't pick soon.

Those prices are crazy I'd post my first show but way too much name dropping,in fact none of the six bands I saw have been drafted yet.

That wasn't my first. Elvis Presley Sept 13 1970.

Yup. Madison Square Garden. Billy Squier opened , Bowie came out for Under Pressure. It was a great start to my concert going experience. But then I Went to see Loverboy after that. Brought me back down to earth.

Yeah nothing on my list was 70s. Suspicious Minds was 1969.

For those of you that think Oh Fat Elvis, not even close. This was filmed a month before I saw him. It's even the same suit.
