Looks like Jerry did say to skip him if he came up (last night).

I guess if he really wants this he can have it...but Ill go ahead and pick.

Knew from the start I wanted some Hendrix...love the tune and the use in Wayne's World.

11.09 Foxey Lady, Jimi Hendrix

Time to class this joint up. His real name is Walden Robert Cassotto. Born in NYC and raised in the Bronx, he grew up thinking his mother was his sister and his grandmother was his mother. He married Sandra Dee and was at the Ambassador hotel in L.A. the night Robert Kennedy was asasinated. Died way too young at 37. Most of his big hits were in the late fifties, but any of us that love the film Goodfellas know this is his best work. Another skinny guinea for Volty.

11.10 - Beyond The Sea - Mr. Bobby Darin.

Damn you. I thought I could get this as my last

pick.

It was my late grandpas favorite tune. My brother and I played it at his funeral.

It was on my list as well as another of his songs that mama nzoner played all the time.

BTW since I picked at 3 a.m.and you wanted to make sure you knew which classic Beatles tune I was targeting, here it is again with an excellent rare video of the guys in the studio and a video of what makes the song so great, especially musically.

A run on Hendrix but whatever, this is my favorite song of his. My good friend who taught me guitar played lead in a band, and they played this song because he could do the teeth/tongue plucking, behind the head,...

11.07 Hey Joe - Jimi Hendrix

Because the 60's were deeper than the 70's,sh!t I could still go 25+ rounds with great songs that most should know.
