Just checked it out, that was awesome. Cormier wins then calls out Brock and tells him to get in the ring. Brock comes up but shoves him, kind of a punk move. Then Cormier talks trash, Lesnar gets the mic and talks back, drops some expletives and sets up a fight.

 

The thing with Brock is that he is really annoying for wrestling fans. See he’s the top champion in wwe still. He was thought to have been losing at wrestlemania so he could leave but they changed it and had him win instead and he signed a new contract for more time. Only thing is, he rarely is even on tv anymore. Why sign him if he’s not gonna be on and fight in ufc anyway? It holds the title hostage and there can’t be any other Interesting storylines or angles until he drops the belt. Wrestling fans just want him to drop the belt already so we can actually have a champ on tv and mix things up with the storylines.

Funny, we missed the WWE crap. A bunch of us went to a bar to watch the fights and celebrate a friend's birthday, and we left right after the Cormier fight.

 

Agreed that that Lewis/Ngannou fight was a travesty. I don't follow UFC that closely any more, but I presume in previous fights both of those guys actually, you know, fight?

 

Also agreed that it's been years since we paid.

I think Vince is doing that on purpose to get people to be so fed up with Brock that theyll finally embrace Roman as the face and the UC. Im sure his contract stipulates he only has to wrestle X amount of times, as he doesnt want to get hurt while hes training for his upcoming UFC. Maybe Brock will finally give up the belt at Summer Slam. As much as I dont like Reigns as the face, Id take that over Brock at this point.

It comes down to whether Brock can get Cormier to the ground. Simple as that. If so, he sits on him. If not, he gets knocked the fock out. Personally, I hope Mark Hunt asks for an injunction preventing Brock from fighting in the UFC and gets it.

I've been watching a long time as well but to me it's all gotten very stale. Something I thought would happen with so many Pay-Per-View event.... so many events it becomes harder and harder to put together a really good card that people want to see.

Right now all the big faces of the UFC are gone. Jones would be but he's a head case. Rousey is gone. The guys like Tito, Randy, Chuck, guys who could really sell a card are gone. A lot of these guys are just boring people in my opinion.

I mean what is remotely interesting about Whitaker, Woodley or khabib? Bleh.

Probably but I wasn't very impressed with DC the other night. Don't get me wrong he got in the punch he needed to but miocics size was a problem. I thought he was getting dominated until that punch. But that's the way it goes.

Cormier's wrestling credentials are better than of Brock. Brock is bigger, so yeah..he still may be able to take him down. I doubt it tho.
