tubby_mcgee 691 Posted February 25, 2019 I love spices. I have tried so many it ridiculous. Here is the ONE I recommend over all others. It goes great on everything. Popcorn. All meats. Pasta. Salad. Everything. Its unique...it's not just the same old spices in just a different formulation. https://www.amazon.com/Spiceology-Black-Blackening-Grilling-Container/dp/B00XLZUK88/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=spiceology&qid=1551072839&s=gateway&sr=8-2&th=1 They used to have small jars.... small jars They have so many interesting and unique spices. The Chili Margarita one that is one the same page as the "small jars" link looks tasty also. If you click the 3 dots button to the right of where it says Chile Margarita..a bunch more flavors show up. I'm gonna try the Chile Margarita. I like the sound of a "citrus/chile" spice. Black and Bleu will still remain champion, I'm guessing. I have (and tried) from Spiceology Tandoori Glory Greek Freak Pink Thyme and Lemon Peppercorn Thai Peanut

Technically, no, not a "spice". When I was typing, I was wondering if the word police were going to show up. Anyway...its excellent. Whatever the fock it is. supermike80 1,300 Posted February 25, 2019 Grains of Paradise. Alton Brown uses it in his lentil soup. Tried to make that soup without that and it didn't taste nearly the same. Have to have grains of paradise, then its fantastic!
wiffleball 4,654 Posted February 25, 2019 Lentil soup. They should have a 'spice' called 'Cave of the Winds' for that stuff. Should be served with Beano muffins.

Bill Penzey stole the recipe from. https://www.thespicehouse.com/bronzeville-galena-street-rib-rub
