At a time when healthcare could end up being the biggest issue in deciding a President in 2020, this virus could end up being a huge test to our current healthcare situation.

There will be a lot of people who have symptoms but won't want to go to get tested. The cost of ER visit, possible hospitalization, missed work time, etc is just not within their reach. In normal every day life, those without money or decent healthcare make the choice to deal with their ailments rather than get treated. While those with money and/or good healthcare, get treated and get on with their lives.  This situation is different. One un-diagnosed/untreated person could spread it to 5, 10, 15+ people. And guess what? It's not going to discriminate between the wealthy and the poor.  Stories will definitely be coming out about people that didn't have the financial means to get tested.  And that will put our healthcare system in the spotlight.
