i'd really love to find a way to turn Kuchar into Day.  Koepka just seems built for this stuff.... Im high on Cantlay but I could drop down from him to Day and have some cap left.... Or I could swap Woodland for Day and go with someone super low instead of Palmer.....   I tried swapping Kuchar for Day but it leaves me with 6k salary and no one palatable. Im sure someone at 6k will make the cut but

I played morning lineups in showdowns for today.  Wind goes from 5 to 10 to 15 to 20 later in the day.  

I also like Euros this week.  Not a links but it will be cool and windy.  Greens arent that difficult and fairly large.

ownership percentage also matters. If your cut missed guy is 20%+ owned, it’s not going to hurt as bad because it’s also hurting over 20% of participants. 

For the FedEx St Jude I did a free 25 cent entry using points I’d built up. It was one of two lineups I had. I ended up winning a dollar . But in reality that was a 4x win it was just sadly on kind of a throwaway entry. I had Koepka, Berger and Mickelson all finish T2. It was a no cut event. Only Hatton screwed me. I think first place won $600. 
 

for shiits and giggles, the winners lineup was Thomas, Koepka, T. Lewis, Lowry, Simpson and Bubba. So 1st, T2, T2, T6, T12, T25

3 dollar entry typo there.  Single bullet tho.

Yea depends how big of a tourny you play.  Big ones aure need 6 of 6 to get anywhere good.  Smaller fields 5 out of 6 can be just fine.

This was the correct strategy as the morning was around 1 shot better than the afternoon wave. 

I had Day but must have picked the wrong AMers otherwise.

I will be interested to see how it plays out today. While the AM did do significantly better, It also seemed as though most of the big dogs were on the AM slate.

Webb is the most expensive on the bored but I have him in both lineups.  Webb and Sedgefield CC is like peas and carrots. 

Other local boys to watch out for:

JT Poston -  from Hickory, NC  He is the defending champ after all. 

Harold Varner III -  raised in Gastonia went to ECU.  Playing well.

Doc Redman: - Raleigh boy, playing well too.

Chesson Hadley -  Another Raleigh boy who is really cheap that I predict will make the cut.

I don’t think so. He doesn’t seem to get up for lesser events and I think something isn’t quite right physically. But hope he does well.
