No.  My theater room is MY theater room.  And my GF won't deny it.  I have no problem with her saying it's "her" kitchen.  When I'm in MY theater room, she better be in HER kitchen making me a sammich.

Sometimes a guy is living in a rented room he found on Craigslist and then moves into his girlfriends house. He still calls it his house. It can go both ways.

Nah, doesn't bother me a bit. My wife puts her heart and soul in to our house, decorating, cleaning, etc. It's her's whether I pay the mortgage or not. 

If it was up to me, I'd stick a for sale sign in the front yard tomorrow and cash out on some inflated equity due to skyrocketing home prices in our area. I'll never feel the way she does about a home.

The only time my wife and I use "my" or "your" is when we are referring to our respective offices.

Other than that it's  "the" kitchen or "the" living room. 

I guess the garage is different. I refer to it as "the" garage. She refers to it as "your" garage. Which is funny because there's more of her sh!t out there than there is mine.
