weepaws 3,157 Posted October 19, 2020 Makes it even more amazing how good of a Qb Wentz is, he’s ranks 11th in avg the Qb position.
kilroy69 1,216 Posted October 19, 2020 The eagles have one single playmaker on offense....and they did not even target him till the second half. The coaching staff needs to look at the tape and see where the production is coming from and stop getting pretty.....feed travis.
Nomad99 700 Posted October 19, 2020 Wonder when Goedert will be ready.
AxeElf 787 Posted October 19, 2020 Alshon Jeffery, a professional wide receiver, will be available soon. Considering how well scrubs like Ward and Fulgham have been doing in his absence, you might want to pick the guy up this week.
weepaws 3,157 Posted October 19, 2020 Jeffery will have the same impact when he returns as A Green with the Bengals. Thanks.

Well, I don't know if I would expect 11 targets, 8 receptions and 96 yards right out of the gate, but he certainly has that kind of upside in some games this year. Nomad99 700 Posted October 20, 2020 That would be great...have Fant on my bench & Goedert in my IR slot...been running with Graham. Maybe I can use Goedert for trade bait....should be their focus with very few targets available in Philly.
kilroy69 1,216 Posted October 20, 2020 If the iggles replace fulgham with Jeffery they get exactly what they deserve. A hobbled old man that won't be able to get open. Jeffery is going to get you 800 yards a year or about 50 yards a game and 5 tds a year...prior to a liscfranc injury. In 3 games so far this year fulgham has averaged 94 yards a game and has 3 tds and has the confidence of Wentz. If they replace him they are stupid.

Jalen Reagor is a speed guy that would take Jacksons spot in the lineup. Fulgham is a the possession wr that would be replaced by Jeffery . They are not the same and are not used at the same spot and run different parts of the route tree. The best chance they have is going to a 3 wr set with Jackson, Reagor taking the top off and fulgham being used as an underneath catch machine.

They may decide to go with Jeffery D-Jax and Reagor in 11 personnel, or Jeffery and Raegor in 12. Could even be Raegor and Fulgham. Regardless, Raegor is more than a speed guy, he is not really like DJax at all, he is bigger/thicker and an explosive leaper. He is more like Aiyuk than Djax... I think it is more one to one than you might believe. "Earlier this summer, head coach Doug Pederson confirmed that Reagor would begin to learn the “Z” spot in the offense behind DeSean Jackson" his spot is the Z. Which is not the spot taken up currently by Fulgham. Fulgam is in a "battle" with Jeffery at the X
weepaws 3,157 Posted October 20, 2020 Reagor and Jeffery and D Jax have sometime in common, they can’t stay healthy enough to play.

I am pretty sure both have taken snaps from the slot, but as the bored deacon alluded to they have to stay healthy for it to even matter.
Ray_T 740 Posted October 20, 2020 is it me, or do the Eagles seem to have injury problems every year? makes me wonder if there is an issue with the way they run practices or the trainer or something else. It just feels like they have players injured every single year. and more than is typical.
DrG 102 Posted October 20, 2020 Fulgham was shut down pretty effectively in the first half. His history suggests current production much more desperate opportunity than talent, ditto Tim Patrick. For that reason, have held on Jeffrey. And Gronk. Yes it’s Bruce Arians but it is also Brady and Gronk.
Jarvis Basnight 119 Posted October 20, 2020 Getting D-Jax back to stretch the field, and Jeffrey would change things considerably this week.

He had 2 targets for no catches at halftime .Once Wentz looked his way he put up numbers. Also consider that he was going up against the Baltimore corners who are really freaking good and still managed an excellent statline. And he just missed on a hail mary bomb that he just made a footwork mistake on.

rotisserieking 56 Posted October 21, 2020 I grabbed Boston Scott last week on a prayer and looks like I have to start him due to bye weeks. This little nugget makes me feel somewhat better: Boston Scott amassed 264 yards and four touchdowns in two games versus the New York Giants last season Does DJax do anything? DrG 102 Posted October 22, 2020 I’ll add that if Fulgham can keep putting up numbers it would be a great accomplishment. Sort of similar to Mostert breaking out a little later in his career.

And travis had 11 targets. Of those 11 probably 7 were catchable balls. He snagged 5 of the 7 and he would have had a much better night if not for wentz being very inaccurate in the game.
