And ignore these authoritarian bastards destroying the country through manipulating of the dumb masses.  The media and big tech  play a huge role in expanding the power of the government and being in bed with them to destroy our first Amendment rights and to alter elections.   Sorry, but watching Seinfeld while these bastards take over is not am option.  I actually love and understand why this country was great and it has nothing to do with an ever expanding and unchecked power that exists in our Executive Branch.

They need it. They need it so bad. Otherwise liberals would have to accept the reality that they are the violent and dangerous side.

It is an f-ing joke.  When it comes out that the FBI instigated and planned it all and these dupes were just pawns, what then?  Are we going to lock up federal agents for putting these people through hell?  Do we lock up Pelosi for destroy evidence?

There are never any consequences for the authoritarian bastards.   They all have legal protection and can get away with this crap.  The feds can lie, destroy evidence and refuse to answer questions.   And that is the f-ing problem.....there is zero accountability.

We treat government agents as superior beings, particularly those in intelligence agencies, not subject to interrogation or punishment.  You give people unchecked power and bad things happen....100 percent of the time.

Your solution to this is voting for a guy who is openly campaigning on doing exactly this. Seems antithetical to your stated beliefs.

The power in the executive branch is already far out of control.  It does need structural changes which makes them answerable to Congress and to the people.  Nobody running is proposing what needs to happen.   Trump will take out some of the trash and make it better temporarily.  I would like to see Trump, Ramaswamy and RFK jr. at least atte.pt to clean it up, but so far none of them seem to understand the structural issues which has lead to these authoritarian bastards empower themselves.

Here you are trying to justify what you know is bullsh1t because it runs counter to your beliefs. Trump has made no secret of his plans. MORE EXECUTIVE CONTROL.

Yes. He’s the fist president that wanted more control.  It’s unprecedented.

The New York Times is nothing but a mouthpiece for the FBI-CIA and has been for many decades.   Unelected civil servants working in secrecy without any checks and balances is not 'the bedrock of democracy' as this idiot expert ridiculously claims.

Trump cleaning house of corrupt civil servants and pulling the power out of these agencies and into the white house is not authoritarianism.   For instance Hoover abused his position for decades, blackmailing and probably even having people killed to get his way and he never faced any consequences because he was more powerful than the president and did not have to answer to congress or the people.  If a white house tried to do what Hoover did he would get impeached.

Trump is not making increasing the authority of the executive branch, he would be consolidating it to the White House which would be more transparent to the public and answerable to the people via elections.

I don't have much faith in Trump actually solving the problems.  We need to open up our federal agencies and especially the intelligence agencies to a rectal exam and tell them we don't give a crap about them protecting their methods, because it is quite obvious those methods have trashed the Constutition.

No, Trump is not the answer, but Trump scares the hell out of the authoritarian bastards who currently are the base of the establishment power.  And a shakeup of that establishment is a good thing.

Maybe he’ll intern some Japanese with his new executive powers. Or suspend habeas corpus or a thousand other examples of executive overreach.  But Trump is the dangerous one.

The relationship between the intel agencies and the NYT is well documented. Anyone belittling that fact is woefully ignorant.  Rock on Libtards.

I appreciate your civil response. Re: the bolded, I'm not sure where you're getting the evidence that leads you to this conclusion. The only thing transparency and Trump share are three letters and his naked attempts to hold onto power, no matter the cost.

I agree with most of the following paragraph, and would definitely include the DOD in that rectal exam.

And Trump scares the hell out of millions of people, including some of the so-called authoritarian bastards. Mostly, IMO, because he is one himself, only with less scruples and cunning than your average authoritarian bastard.

If he was able, do you think Trump would happily put away his enemies without due process? Unjustly influence the DOJ to persecute rivals? Rule by executive order? Declare himself president for life, followed by Ivanka? If not, you haven't been paying attention for the past 7 years.

If he wanted Hillary locked up he could have had her locked up. He didn’t. If he wanted members of the press locked up, he would have, unlike Obama who did. So no. He could have.  He didn’t.

You need a link to know that James Comey clearly stated that Hillary had violated the law?

How does that get translated to "Trump could have had her locked up?" POTUS doesn't have that power. Nor should they, contrary to Trump’s opinions.

He could have appointed an attorney general that agreed to lock her up. They can.  This has to be explained to you?

He tried. It failed. There wasn't enough evidence. I know the definition of evidence needs to be explained to you. You must have been a helluva cop.
