Yes most of their constituents would love to ban it and for many of them it’s the main reason they vote Republican. The party will do as much as it can, probably short of an outright ban because I don’t think the leaders actually want that, but they’ll walk right to the line and whose to say they won’t someday cross it because that’s what they claim they want to do.

Yup.  There's certainly a segment who want it banned and a pretty big one, but it's definitely in the minority.  I'd say it's something like a split of 75/25.  The 75% are against the government paying for it and the 25% just don't want abortions to be legal.  I'm in the former.

I do not have a big problem with abortion.  I think we can make a correlation to crime rates lowering to some degree where wh0res are not raising kids, or the kids are just unwanted and off to their own.  I think it great that we minimize the number of sluts who can raise a child.

Abortion is REALLY bad for the economy.  We need a large population of young adult consumers to keep economic growth rates going.  We offset abortion with lax immigration laws, but that causes its own problems like culture wars.

But we are getting that.  Immigration is an excellent off set.  And further, if we can get these people into the tax system its a huge win overall. The big negative will be the harm it will deliver to the AA community.
