I am not married to the same game parlays but did well last week with them.  Brought Musgrave and Jayden Reed down to 19.5 taking both overs at +100. They didn't easily hit but they sort of did.  Game flow wasn't optimal for those but they hit anyway.  Then hit a +800 for the Bills game.

Fanduel has ones up to $25. Sometimes, your max will be tailored to your account, from what I have heard.

Damn I will have to check them out.  I believe DKs is universally 10.

Tonight, for example they have a no sweat SGP for Vikings Eagles. Same one hawkeye was mentioning I think. For me it is "place a 3+ leg, $1+ SGP"  "get a refund in bonus bets if your bet loses. Max refund $25"

I don't know that I will bet the max. I usually end up breaking any free bets down into $5 increments anyway and doing long shot parlays with them

Fanduel did not do that last year either. I can't speak for prior to 2022.

Free bets you obtain and then win with will credit your account the winnings, not including the initial stake amount.

Correct, they didn't do it last year, but they probably stopped several year ago.  I remember telling a co-worker about how it worked, this was 2017 I believe.  Time flies.

I understand why they would change it. The whole point of the promo is you win congrats!, you lose we will give you another shot to bet. It's supposed to get people gambling by giving out small free bets. I am less surprised they used to let people cash out the free bet and more surprised that they don't cap the odds. Giving out a bunch of free bets with capped odds seems like it would hurt their bottom line a lot less than a few people hitting monster parlays with those free bets.

also how pathetic do you have to be to lose your initial wager and then place the free bet with the intention to cash it out / withdraw and get your $5 back  .

How is that pathetic?  What if there was nothing I wanted to bet?  It had an expiration, so you just bet and cash out and keep the money until you want to bet something.

Exactly.  I used to do that, make a risky bet, if you lose, take the free bet refund, bet on anything, and then immediately cash out, get your money back.  They stopped that, so then I would just bet a sure thing like team +35, then get the money back, then they stopped that so you only get the winnings.  Now I take the free bet and throw it on a parlay where the odds are north of +500 to make it worthwhile.

It should be called "Chase Your Losses" instead of "No Sweat". <_<

Under Bettors Won Big

A common belief is that NFL teams, especially now with a shortened preseason, are rusty on offense to start the season. If you share this theory and heavily bet the under on game totals yesterday, then you won a lot of money. Through the 15 games played so far this week, unders are 11-4.

Just think if you had a extra 16 grand laying around last weekend, Could have made a easy low risk 10 grand.

free bets usually last 7 days. If you're not going to make any wagers at all in a week... I guess.

$8,000 minus vig.   But, yep

It's not just the new preseason, unders week 1 have hit 60% plus for two decades now.  It's some of the easiest free money that vegas just hasn't been able to adjust for.

Very surprising Vegas got to take it on the chin every year.

Pennywise?

Also I'm just correcting you on what a Wong teaser is, going through the 3 and 7, most profitable teaser.  Just a tip.

Covered Minn +6.5 last night, if you want me to post my picks I will.

I was -1 unit over the weekend.  Bet more than I should have as I was excited for NFL week 1.  Could have been worse if my son hadn't told me to bet Diggs for first TD last night.  +950

Sure you did.

I'd prefer if you didn't post at all.  But just so you know how it works, you post your bets ahead of time.

UFC Fight Night 227

Weird card.  Main event and co-main are two favorites at really good numbers.

Shevchenko -170

Della Maddalena -150

When was the last time you could get Shevchenko at that kind of number?

Then there are a bunch of heavy chalk favorites that I don't see are worth betting and no big upsets jump out at me.

The only other fight I like is

Jasudavicius +105

having fought twice already this year and having just beaten Miranda Maverick.  Cortez coming off a year and a half layoff because of injuries.

Niners -1.5/Steelers +8.5 teaser

You might not need to tease the Steelers. Steelers are 20 straight wins at home on Monday Night, 19 straight wins at home against the Browns.

Pittsburgh has won 20 straight Monday night home games, the most recent loss coming in 1991 against the New York Giants.

The Steelers have won 20 straight Monday night games at home, which is an NFL record. They've beaten the Browns 19 straight times at home in the regular season and let me just say that there's no way I'm picking against either of those streaks.

All streaks have to come to an end and this years Steelers are going to be awful.

Being a homer I'm not going to argue that but there is a lot of talent on that team. I'll give ya another for the game Tomlin is also 10-2 after a 20 point blowout loss. This is my lock of the week.

Putting tomorrow’s card together. We will start with teasers.

Tennessee +8.5/Green Bay +7.5

San Francisco -1.5/Chicago +8.5

Got this far and notice DK blocks you from betting most teasers that qualify for a Wong.

And a teaser that meets Wong requirements on FD has a price of -134?  Fock these guys.

Fine. Fine. You convinced me to build a parlay for the Steelers winning.

Steelers, Chubb to score, the under, Robinson and Friemouth to score.

Looks like Johnson is out and Pickens hurt himself today so he is likely not healthy even if he plays.

I was able to grab this -145.

Zero targets last week, so I can see them making a point to get him a few grabs this week.

Did you ever make a Bet365 account?  6 pt is -120 and 7 pt is -130.  If you haven’t, it looks like they still have the free $365 in bets in Ohio with a $10 deposit
