It just needs to be said.  How long after the UFC merges with the WWE do we find out there are shenanigans going on with the judges scoring just like boxing?

• Controversial 10-8 score for the 5th round making the championship fight a majority draw and the Mexican champion retains her belt - check

Shevchenko repeatedly hit Grasso with her jab re-opening her cut and blooding her face for the first 3.5 minutes of the 5th, clearly winning the round at that point.  Grasso reverses a takedown attempt and get's Shevchenko's back for control the final 1.5 minutes of the round.  You want to put more weight on the 1.5 minutes of ground control and give the round to Grasso 10-9, fine. (Forget that Shevchenko had Grasso's back for the majority of round 3 and nobody scored it 10-8)  But, there is no reality in any universe that the 5th is a 10-8 round.

I had it 3-1 going into the 5th,  as did 2/3 of the judges.  The only way Grasso could win was with a finish.

Right, in the future I'll try to provide more explanations for some of these.

it's honestly a wonder how someone can put so much energy into golf AND into an addiction AND have a family. Obviously we don't know the family situation behind the scenes but these guys just operate differently. Same with Tiger when his addiction was poon and he had a budding family.... of course we saw how that turned out. 

I'm just trying to imagine having a career that demands that much of your time (events, media obligations, practice), plus a legit addiction, plus multiple kids... and not like Cromartie kids either, kids they actually take care of.

I was half way watching and when they said split draw I was confused as to how they got there.

I will say I am for more 10 10 rounds. Some of these rounds can be so close it seems goofy to award it to one of the other.  I know that brings more draws in.  I'm not saying make it common but sometimes I would like a 10 10. If it is razor close someone shouldn't be awarded th fight on a round that is basically too close too call.  Of a round where hardly anything happens. 

I was like oh shlt they gave a 10 10.  But that wasn't the case.  I wasn't watching too closely but there wasn't a lopsided round.
