DonS 3,314 Posted August 25, 2021 The following song popped up on my Spotify shuffle today. Reminded me what an absolute abortion of a song/video this song is for the otherwise solid Judas Priest. It's very true that videos from the 80s are often cringe worthy, but that doesn't give them an excuse for making the sh1tty song in the first place What is the low point for some other good bands/artists? I saw a video someone made where he rips open his ghey t-shirt and reveals a huge "thug life" tattoo on his chest. I've never been able to find it again unfortunately. KISS going full on disco for I Was Made For Loving You was pretty bad as well.

Styx Grand Illusion and Pieces of Eight were probably the cassettes I played the most in my life. Paradise Theater was a step down, but I disagree that it was almost as bad as Kilroy. There is a documentary about Styx where Tommy Shaw talks about how Dennis DeYoung pushed the band in that direction and what an abortion Kilroy was. Yes 90210 was a close second for me. I was SO excited that they were coming out with a new album, and then... that?! All of my favorite rock and prog bands went to crap in the mid 80s. Yes and Rush, Billy Joel and Elton John, blech.
