They still would have lost. it was 2 to 2 at that point. Once umpaloompa tied it with his bomb, it was over

Yea Altuve got the bomb to tie it up, and then it took off from there.

But the real star of this game was the Stros bullpen. With dead bodies and arms all up and down that roster, they stepped up and gave the bats (and HOU) life.

When your starting pitcher doesn't even go 3 innings, you have no business winning the game.  Even though that it is far more common today than it ever was.

Where Diaz was lined up and as low as he was, not surprised he called that a ball...

Sorry buddy, it is time to do away with the home plate umpire calling balls and strikes.

The US Open did away with line judges. MLB can do it too

Neither team has any starting pitching and will get rolled by the national league winner.

And I hate both National league teams. I mean hate. If Astros win I will be forced to root for them. That sounds like a terrible idea.

Is the pitcher right now for the Astros, Garcia #77.  Is his wind up not a balk every time?  He rocks sideways, steps TOWARDS home plate then rocks back again.

I'll try to find a video.

John Smoltz is now sounding like one of those obnoxious people who talks a lot more when he has been drinking

I was at the game. Great win, and it was amazing to witness this kind of thing in person, with the crowd exploding at the final out. Go Astros!
