Big Tech controls the media. Amazon owns the Washington Post. You do what big tech tells you to or you’re out. The real journalists have fled to providers like Substack. There was a time that place was referred to as a “company town”, and the local media would never dare speak out against the company. That has expanded to journalists never speaking out against the new company town, the internet,  controlled by big tech. Never mind not speaking out, they say what they are told to say. That’s why they all say the same thing.

The recent 180 degree change in how they do business, giving control to the GM, for the NY Giants was brought about because an independent journalist on Sub Stack, Tyler Dunne, did a three segment report on how focked up the Giants front office has been since 2012. Nepotism , scouts were there for show, as John Maras brother and nephew did their own scouting while never actually leaving NJ except for the senior bowl, how much of a lackey and a-hole Gettleman was to people.  On and on. But what it also exposed was all the Giants beat writers, and there are many, as towing the company line and never reporting what was going on in plain sight. They just blamed the GM and the HC, never the people actually making the decisions.   The Maras had a free ride. At least it looks like they have changed. We’ll see.

She's saying that the situation is serious and that the US and it's allies are confident that there is a diplomatic solution to the issue.  That's clear.

What makes it come off as uncomfortable is that she's just trying very hard to sound presidential and failing miserably.  She needs to work on sounding genuine when she lies.

I’d rather listen to that guy than a guy with a son who is a crack addict who was banging his brothers widow. And got him hooked up all over the world to get payoffs that he got a cut of. That’s some real sound judgement there. Got the same crackhead son a commission in the navy too. Too bad he failed a drug test for crack and got the boot. But not a dishonorable or bad conduct discharge like some kids got for smoking pot.
