At +350, winning bettors make $350 for every $100 they bet.  So 3.5 times his bet of $35 = $122.50.

Not bad. I'd enjoy doing something like that occasionally, but I'm from Minnesota, the ultimate nanny state. For me, a good bet would be to say that we'll be one of the last 5 states to approve sports betting. Funny thing is, 2 or 3 years ago when they first started discussing it, the Native American Tribes, who run all the casinos in Minnesota, said they were dead set against it. In spite of that, when/if it's ever approved, they get exclusive rights to it.
