I’m sorry, but if you’re on the same side of an issue of behavior as Keith Olberman, you gotta rethink your position.  Right?

You’d think right? But people on the left aren’t exactly know for their intelligence or common sense

Aren’t there certain people that when  they get involved you don’t jump to their side? Like Alex Jones. I don’t care if he said 99 things I agreed with. If he’s touting something, I dismiss it or at least assume he’s the dik in the controversy. He’s earned it. So has KO. I think they are both the same and  proceed accordingly. Not Libtards. They don’t care what company they keep.

Some of those journalists were rightfully suspended.  But I’m not convinced they all were, unless maybe linking to a news article is also against the policy which would be sh1tty.

However, he did a poll asking when they should be reinstated and the winner was “now,” so surprise surprise, more hypocrisy from Musk as he obviously hasn’t reinstated them yet.

You talking about the first poll or the 2nd?  And, as far as I can tell, he never said he was bound by EITHER poll.

This will be ignored by the media as well.  Because, of course, they were actively involved.  They're as dirty as Twitter execs were.

I don't have a Twitter account.  I can see the results from the first poll but not the 2nd.  Is the 2nd one closed?   I assume my not seeing results means it's still open.  In either case, can you show me the tweet where Musk says he will honor the results from either poll?  Otherwise, I don't see the hypocrisy you're whining about.

Uh-oh. Seeing as the libtard morons here refuse to put two and two together they may finally get hit with the truth and look stupid again. Same losers that thought the school board in Loudon county wasn’t in on the cover up.

ROFLMAO.  The total of suspended accounts is what, 7?  One is the ElonJet guy.  That suspension was fair.  Of the others you acknowledge "some" of them are legit.  So, you're making a big stink and calling him a hypocrite over what, 2 or 3 accounts?  Dude, get over it.

🤣

Yup, sit back and let these folks expose themselves. Pull back the curtain, let everybody see, rinse & repeat.

Musk shut down Alex Jones - good. Musk shuts down Keith Olberman- also good. I think Musk has a good feel for these things and from what I’ve seen with him shutting down the kid stuff I’ll trust him until he shows me different.

🤣

It was not fair to ban an account that hadn’t tweeted since the policy was changed.

And of course for the millionth (in b4 @Horseman joke) time, what really made him a hypocrite was specifically saying he would NOT ban elonjet despite acknowledging the risks, then doing it anyway.

Sorry I was wrong.  It says 6 hours left.  But it’s 59-41, I think it can be conceded.

Twitter has an appeals process where anyone can appeal if they think they have been suspended unfairly.  I suggest any of the 2 reports you think were unfairly suspended take  advantage of that process as centrists told conservatives to do for the last 5 years whenever their accounts were suspended.

A man taking measures to protect his family and the only ones affected by it are a bunch of pampered a-holes is not up for criticism. MYOB. His family, his Twitter, his call.

It’s only “unfair” if the person banned votes D. Otherwise, they just tell them to eat Sh1t. Now that the shoe is on the other foot they can’t STAND it. Even still, Musk is doing things FAIRLY and not skewed to one side. THAT alone makes him 1000 times better than anybody of Twitter before

He might.  That's not the point.  You said he was a hypocrite for not having already done so, despite:

1)  The 2nd poll not even being closed yet.

2)  Unless you show me otherwise, which I've asked for at least twice now, he never committed to using the poll results to decide whether to restore the accounts.

Basically, it looks like you're just whining again.

Watching the conversation essentially "flip" is fascinating.

Whereas not long ago people decrying Twitter were mostly conservative, and the position of leftists was "too bad" or "just setup your own version", now.....we have conservatives saying too bad, and its just Twitter policy and they can just get the account back after the suspension....and leftists now getting a taste of what it was like to have your voice quieted are up in arms....

Tellingly, in raising the alarm over these journalists....those who now object are implicitly acknowledging that what was happening before was wrong....

Good lord you people are missing the point.  We’re not defending the old twitter.  But new twitter specific said they wouldn’t do things like this, yet they are.  So I could flip your argument right back on you:

The GC: Twitter is banning conservatives!! This is an outrage!!

Also the GC: Twitter is banning lib journalists!!  This is awesome!!

You yourself admitted some of the journalists deserved to be suspended.  The total is like SIX.  Let me repeat:  SIX.  There are still THOUSANDS of lib journalists posting on twitter, and some of them I've even heard of as opposed to these nobodies.  Just stop dude.

You lose the ability to object if you do it, or allow it to be done.

I just wish there was this concern when Twitter was doing it before, and lying that they were not....

Yup. It was a conspiracy theory. Then it was ok, it’s a private company. Then it was good, because conservatives say all the feelings hurters.

That comment was more just to show the hypocrisy of the GC.  But the journalists are pretty low on the totem pole (maybe not even on there at all) of why Musk is a hypocrite IMO.

I objected to the silencing of people then, and I still do, in the instance of "doxxing" yeah we can shut that down no matter where it is happening.

It would be wrong for Musk to silence them for saying something negative about him, and i would be in full opposition to that. But putting his location out there, yeah, i know very well why someone would do that.  The only thing missing is the liberal maneuver to also encourage their shock troops to get after him in public...

Keith Olbermann is using an Alias on Twitter and railing on Musk.  Now that is specifically against Twitter's TOS and pretty much always has been.  Is it ok if Musk dumps both his accounts Timmay?
