Billy Squire isn't on either list, whereas individual artists such as David Lee Roth, Yngwie Malmsteen, Lita Ford, and later era Alice Cooper are.

I have no problem with individual artists, they're actually in bands, they have a whole supporting band involved, it's just a naming convention.

In the end it's your call. Its always commish prerogative and I won't make a stink as I've been in the commish chair often enough myself. The other four of us saw it as harmless since she's not affecting previous picks, she wants to join and is willing to take two makeup picks for the first and second rounders she missed, then jump in where we are.

There's was a slow-moving potential disaster. It was going to say something like "Billy Squire" or Ozzy Osbourne" or "Aldo Nova" and this is what was going to happen:

Participant A: "I Take The Stroke by BIlly Squire"

Participant B: "He's not hair." 

Participant C : "I'd have taken Billy Squire if I knew he was available".

Actually, I can't speak for bostonlager.

 I just know that when I commish,  my first three stages of decision-making are invariably: 1) Want to jump in a hole, curl into a ball, and pretend the problem doesn't exist, 2) get frustrated that I didn't see it coming, 3) realizing that the rules are ambiguous, they don't address the issue at hand, and I'm going to have to piss somebody off.
